Yes, it had a pump on it. It was from an older mercedes I believe. You dont have to use one though, it will boil feed itself through the radiator just fine
This ody had a water cooled cylinder as well as head. You can bolt a water cooled head right on to a stock air cooled cylinder with no mods. The head is a stand alone unit, it does not flow directly into the cylinder. The cylinder was boxed in with hose fitting for in and out and you just piggy back them together.
the u-joints tend to break, especially if they are original and worn. check them for slop/play, also stay away from the cheap autozone brand when you replace them, i cant remember the name, but if they are hollow dont get them. I dont have the fl350 any more, i now have a EEE stadium lite with a kawasaki 440cc 2 cylinder
@nicksbfc69 hey i need to know this fairly quickly but is this stock? and if so was it able to climb all the hills out there?im getting a modified one today and i am hoping it will do everything a slightly modified yamaha rhino will do with paddles. thanks
This ody had a ported cylinder, water cooled head and cylinder, dg pipe and silencer (which i would not recommend, way too loud and annoying), mikuni 38mm carb, boysen reeds. With paddles it was faster than rhinos and rzr 800s and could climb better as well.
A stock fl350 will be much faster than a rhino, they are lighter and have a lower center of gravity. The water cooled head doesnt add power, it adds reliability and longevity of your engine. You will get your biggest power gains from port work, carb and pipe. Is there a "part 2" that shows the big jump?
Dude for something so damn ancient it did pretty good on tht jump
what was done to the engine?

did you just bolt the liquid cooled head on? it seems u would have to make changes to the cylinder?????

will a stock one run with a rhino? and is the liquid cooled head realy worth it? does it give it alot more power or just some?
mild port work, boysen reeds, 38mm mikuni flat slide carb, open air filter, comet 94c clutch, full exhaust, and water cooled head and cylinder.
Nah, i upgraded to the pilot. I currently have 2 fl400's and a '09 RZR-S Once you get a pilot, you will never want another odyssey

did it keep up with the pilots with all that work?
looks like fun! do you still have it?
how much r they?
@nicksbfc69 the one im getting has a hi comp piston, water cooled, race clutch, and ported

Love it !

is it that much better?
@nicksbfc69 i havent had any trouble outa mine an the are original mine has a cb500 on it witch produces more power but it is burning out the tranny
Sounds like it never actually gets on the pipe... looks slow
Well, they are hard to come across. They stopped making them in I think... '85.
Yeah, night and day difference. It takes a lot of work to get a fl350 to be as nice as a fl400
FUCKIN HOSS!

Of course his number is 69...
more or less. My buddy's pilot was still faster. My pilot I have now is way faster, hands down.
