We painted the walls a moody color & added a wood wall feature, incorporated new to use furniture, lots of thrifted finds & DIYs to completely transform this blank space into the bedroom of Hailey & Sam's dreams... all on a budget! Funny story. I came into my living room yesterday and I asked my granddaughter, whatcha watching. She says this crazy life. I was like I didn't know you watched this, so we watched it together. She's 9, lol. She says I like her she's so pretty and I like her recipes. How sweet!

My husband would be so proud of you for your wonderful cutting in job. He was an expert and made it look easy, as you do. He is paralyzed now and can no longer do his favorite thing in the world. But he is properly impressed.

Turned out amazing! Love the dark and moody! Gold accents make lots of pops around the room. The floating desk is so unexpected, who would have thought? Oh that bedding! Makes me want to scrunch it against my face! And that beautiful rug, looks so expensive! Weren't those night stands just perfect? Wow! This was so much work, but the JOY! it brought to this deserving couple is not measurable! Now, take a week to rest up, get your voice back and resume life "Before Makeover!" I'm sure that $200 over budget will come back to you 10Xs over, watch for it! God bless your kind loving hearts! Kyle, you are 1 in a thousand! Hugs!

A master bath! Off a beautifully finished bedroom. May need a larger budget! Not looking for soaker tub or massive shower, just a beautifully appointed, coordinating bath, wallpaper, new lights, mirrors and luscious linens, lots of storage! And plants! If too expensive, how about a basement gathering room for games, snacks, movies?

I keep a lint free napkin/rag dampen it with water drop of fabric softener or add a dryer sheet to d-wrinkle items. Makes the room super fresh. Nice make over.
This also does wonders to refresh your huge comforters/pillows that you don't want to wash all the time.
That bedroom truly looks so high end that it should be in a model home.
I think you came in just at budget. The room turned our absolutely beautiful!

I love dark bold colours and I alias question my life choices when paint goes on. You have to trust the vision and proces. Once everything is in, it looks great.
I love this room. The wall color actually makes the room feel bigger and brighter because the light bounces off the walls. The walls in my house is painted a grey/green color all over (the house is very open). This is my favorite of the remake projects you've done.

I don't know if anyone else answered your question of what they would do differently...
But I would've made the dresser all one colour, the colour you painted the shell and then the floating shelf I would've stained it the same as the desk. That way there isn't too many competing colours and wood tones.
Just my 2 cents, the makeover is great anyway.

Where do I start. Everything is simply gorgeous. The room just flows and the colors are amazing. Love all the textures on that gorgeous bed. You both did a wonderful job. Amanda you have also added to the for things to watch for. Hiccups and stretches. You could really see how much they loved it. You and Kyle both deserve an A+ for this one .

This room rescue turned out Absolutely AMAzing! Definitely worth the little extra money. You guys are so talented. I have always loved to decorate but ive only done my home. Before i moved out of phx my house was mostly all kirkland and my era is the tuscan era which i absolutely adored.

Wow, what an amazingly beautiful room you both created. It's just stunning. I'm a white wall person and I add colour with decor, so I was worried about the dark walls when you first started painting. I love the colour but was not sure about it working in a bedroom but wow when the walls were completed even without the furniture in it yet I was shocked at how beautiful it came out and what a hugh difference it made to the room. When you first showed us this bedroom in your vlog and the home owner's said they needed a desk/work area I was like "nope, no chance this can be pulled off to look good" but wow how you pulled it all together is just fantastic. I said in a previous video that you both have a very special talent in doing makeovers, and you've just proven me right again. You both outdid yourselves. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE EVERYTHING. 10 out of 10.❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
