- Today I visited the Poonsup Market here in Bangkok, which is nothing but a massive knock off/replica automotive racing parts market. I saw super cheap replica parts from Volk, Rays, HKS, AMS, K-Tuned, Defi, Auto Meter, Sparco, Bride, OMP and more....it was definitely interesting that's for sure.
Oh...and have you ever seen a racing ambulance?! LOL

I know the Poonsup, every car parts need 3M Double Sided tape.
I need that Bride seat and the Mugen shift knob. My computer chair needs a few upgrades.

@@hfzwoopah actually I rarely spent any time in any tourist areas, I lived in a village in the North of Thailand and travelled to every city in Thailand over the years, I didn’t spend much time in Bangkok. I only went there when it was for work really.

I was building a harness set-up for a friend's race car and a video popped up showing a car going off the track and into a dirt barrier/hillside.
The knockoff racing harness failed.
One of the scariest things I'd seen in a while. Especially when I was building a potentially life saving harness at the time.
There's a reason those knock-offs are band in most forms of racing.

Yeah this is not a market for racecars or competition motorsports, I’m not sure why you thought it was but I’ll try and be more clear next time. These parts are definitely for streetcars. Glad you liked the video though, check out some of my other ones :)

I wasn't under the impression you were showing racing parts.
I know most of it is for show.
Although some of it is a huge safety issue if it fails.
Things like brake lines and fittings, calipers, rotors, nuts and bolts.
I'm sure you know what I'm talking about 👍
I'm a motorcycle enthusiast. Dig the scooter racing vids.
I also have a great appreciation for their efforts, especially when they do it with nothing.
People just need really think about the parts they're buying. Really consider what's the consequences of a failure?? Is it purely cosmetic or does it risk life and limb??
On a motorcycle. There's more parts that have to do with a successful ride or a possible trip in a tricked out aid car.
My mind set is from the rider's point of view. "OMG, if that (whatever) brakes. It's going to be a horrible crash".
Nowadays it can be tough to tell what you're buying. Some of it is really dangerous.
Ever seen what happens when a motorcycle front brake rotor fails? It's ugly.

Not exactly scooters. They have clutch and they are 5 speed some of them 6 speed .. They have 4 stroke engines.
They also tune and race them. They are very fast we have one here in Greece which does the quarter mile in 9 seconds. We are talking about 250cc 2stroke N/A engine.

My friends motorcycle its built from the philippines but the parts on it its from thailand and its now a full on thai build on his suzuki raider 150R modified to 200R still i only own and race a sym 125 with a carb and exhaust upgrade and raced it with high octane fuel and just full send
