The nicest looking bottle you've reviewed so far, imho. With other bottles, I usually only care for the stainless steel or black varieties (lame, I know) while the rest look like crap, but just going by looks I'd be happy with over half of the variations of this bottle on amazon.
Besides the collapsible bottles I linked on another vid, could you at some point review a metal bottle that would be suitable for boiling water directly over a fire (think camping and/or The Road)? I believe that automatically disqualifies all insulated bottles and any bottle with a plastic cap or plastic threading like this one. I don't have any particular suggestions, but please keep an eye out!
really interesting, a quick google isn't revealing bottles that officially advertise this feature -- mb too much of a liability risk? that said, single walled stainless bottles get the thumbs up for cooking here (with caveats -- do read!): www.outdoorlife.com/blogs/survivalist/2011/06/use-your-water-bottle-boil-water-and-cook/
Yes! Although truth be told, insulating properties have never been super important to me personally (most insulated bottles work well enough for what I need). That said, I know many people are interested, so I'll try to make it happen sometime!
@@bottlestoconsider1147 never mind tho. many youtubers did such a comparison test. problem is the test conditions, how to choose them. you'd get plenty of views for sure, if that's what you're after haha. Happy New Year!!
Very easy if you get the right brush! I'm putting two links here. I haven't tried the silicon brush but seems promising (and more sanitary long-term). The other one is similar to one I bought a at a grocery store a year ago, and it works great. It takes a little practice to get the brush in and out of the bottle without sort of spraying yourself, but it's doable. And so worth it, I never have concern about lingering bottle uncleanliness anymore. Now that I'm writing this, I'm realizing I should probably do a bottle cleaning video... www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004OCLJ/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B00004OCLJ&linkCode=as2&tag=bustle-21767662-20&linkId=ac370a28413ca7b359fc5330a7be6d48& www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CLDNYWH/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B07CLDNYWH&linkCode=as2&tag=bustle-21767662-20&linkId=395bafd9b3040cd93cf735734c771466&
I’m looking for a non straw sipping water bottle. Can’t do the wide mouth cause I spill on myself all the time and my husband took my yeti with the chug lid.
It’s like watching an episode of Drunk History but with water bottles. Love it.
Haha I'm glad you enjoyed!
Glad I saw this video cuz I was about to buy one. I would not be happy with the color fade, or the lip ring on my nose!! Thanks for your review!!

Yeah they've got some really stand-out finishes! Although beware tho, they may flake off...

I never knew about why some made the gong sound. It would be cool to know more about the engineering behind these bottles
yes it would! someday maybe i'll branch out and interview some designers and engineers :)
maybe down the line it'd be a fun project to do thermal comparison tests with all your thermoses

oh no! are you not expecting to get the yeti back? i've enjoyed the corkcicle, also love swell for the narrow mouth opening.
Thank u for ur review 😘😘😘😘
Thanks for watching!
Does it have a metallic taste when it comes to drinking water specifically?
I haven't found it to taste metallic! Though I'd recommend giving it a rinse with dish soap every week or so, helps cut down any smells.
@@bottlestoconsider1147 thanks for the recommendation 💙
So glad I could help!
how hard is it to clean?
not hard, as long as you have some sort of brush that can reach the bottom (google 'bottle brush')
Thing i hate the most is the ccanteen color fades overtime. Sad i got the copper one 3 yrs ago now its just silver lol
wow so mine wasn't just one-off! yeah it's a bummer, especially for that price. but silver's cool too!
So easy to hold !!
Yes! Do u have one?
