One of those frustrating games from my childhood that I cannot get out of my head. I was going to upload my original longplay to this account but thought It needed redoing to up it to 50fps and to hopefully play better.
Here I collect all the COMIC letters and obtain all the comedy scenes from the bonus levels. Some of which I've probably never gotten before because the time limit makes it incredibly difficult to obtain them all. -

Oh my god, they made those episodes of a cartoon where the characters sleepwalks and get into wacky hijanks into a game
This game drove me mental as a kid, I could never get past the sewer area near the beginning - I thought the game was broken until I later played Soccer Kid and realised I just wasn't built to be responsible for something other than my own character. 25 years later and I have since raised a healthy adult son from a possible total of four.

That was copy protection. When the game detected it was pirated it would remove a floating barrel preventing you from finishing the first stage. I had the same problem
I never even figured out how to get past the first level. God, this game was difficult.

@@internalwarrior2410 No, I had the full game. I was just a little kid with no patience to figure out the whole level. I just liked to run around and explore.
@@user-qjvqfjv the version I had the barrell floats s in the wrong direction . I was told it was copy protection sabotage

Not to mention, the "Coffin Time" thing looks really bad when taken outta context.
I had this for the CD32, which would save the last level you reached but not how much comedy you got in the bonus levels. I only finished it once because the last level was so hard, with 0% comedy! The manual stated, if you managed to get all the comedy scenes on all the bonus levels, you'd be in for a surprise at the end; the surprise is... a bigger tomato! some closure after all these years, I guess!
When my sister played this game, she was doing it all wrong; she left Lee(The sleepwalker) between the two building at 2:37 while sending Ralph(The dog) to get all the Letters, thinking it was to spell his name; boy was SHE wrong! ...Then again me and her were in our late 90s as young kids so that's respectable
Also the "Potty Training" gag is SUCH a disgusting moment for young children playing this game; thank god me and my sister didn't see that back then

While Eek! is better version, both of these games are a chore. Just like any escort mission in any game.
Absolutely agree, I played this on C64 when I was younger and remember being annoyed by it. Now I realise that it was just a long, stressful escort mission! At least there was some charity involvement I guess...
It can't be a coincidence that the sleepwalking kid in this game looks like Dennis "The Menace" Mitchell, since Ocean Software, the company that developed this game, also developed the game based on the 1993 live-action Dennis the Menace movie by Warner Bros..

I remember this game got some really good reviews back then. I tried to like it but, boy, the game is so frustratingly hard.
And I am a good videogames player in general, but this game was just too much annoying.

I like the old games, but this game ísť too difficult and illogical. The only plus is in the idea.
