7:17 Blaze Wizard was nerfed into-and-through the floor this patch, being one of the three supports that used to have elemental resistance debuffing (which was removed), but being the only one of the three to NOT get bonus final damage added into the kit as compensation for the nerf.
I look at these notes through a solo POV and while I didn't know the solo FD gains/losses exactly, things *looked* generally positive to me. The teleporter not being 1-time use is pretty huge for me.
@@RathGMS We do get some nice QOL with the teleporter being resuable and our being usable mid-air, but from a purely damage perspective, we lose fd in this patch. The ignore elemental resistance affected us as well as the party, so losing that is a straight 10% fd loss. The gains from the individual skill buffs do not fully compensate for this loss.
That's unfortunate to hear that it didn't balance them out solo. As a person with a mule I'll take the loss for the utility gain on the tele but I know not everyone cares as much. I use the hell out of my BM's tele and I'm glad I can start to do the same with BW.
Yeah around a 2 FD loss and ~ 12% FD to party. The QoL is nice though since it’s more rare to get than damage anyway. I’m on the hopium train that we will get dmg eventually
A lazy mobber I've grown to really love is Lara. River farming is as lazy as it gets. Set up your two points and then spam your summon button. Getting to Lvl260 felt free
As a DA main, I can confirm the difficulty in playing DA is different from that of other classes. We don't have a ton of buttons to push and frame perfect combos to execute, however as you've stated the difficulty lies in surviving. As a DA if you're running the max DPS setup RFS+29frenzy you'll die to patterns(80%HP+) that normally wont kill other classes, EVEN if you use our "parry" skill. On the other side of the coin however we can survive and basically ignore almost all chip damage that's 30%HP or lower.
Lynn is my favorite class! Best(?) mobility in the game, not a lot of buffs/button presses, two heal-over-time abilities, a giant team shield, a cleanse, their basic attack hits like a truck with massive AoE, Bird and Wolf do great damage even if you aren't. They make up for their lack of burst with fantastic dps. 10/10, would recommend! :)
Wild Hunter only needs one change: Allow for any and all jaguar skills to be placed in auto mode, if any jaguar is in range of a monster, it will auto use the jaguar skills in auto mode as long as the skill is available to be used.
Yes please! I describe bossing with the Jaguar attacks as playing with 1000ms at all times. It's especially annoying having the bind be cast through the jaguar.

Cannot recommend Kain enough to burn. The grinding is a little finicky at first, but its bossing has everything. A resetting dash that has stealth, an i frame on a decently short cd, lots of buttons but it's a make a wish combo class, just spam whatevers off cd lol. The damage will not let you down at 6th job, i promise. Its my favorite mule to play since last burn event.
Just saying that as a lvl 270 demon slayer that just soloed hlucid. The clsss is the best all rounder out there. The s just make bossing better and chill. In meso farming with sol janus and erda shower full 1944% meso i get 300/30mins. And also a great link skill for bossing.
2:28 Cadena has got to be one of the most fulfilling and satisfying combo classes to both boss and mob with. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a bosser that isn't totally braindead.
I’m a level 263 Blaster main, their biggest con is once you learn the how to play them it ruins the game for you because you’ll never want to play another class again. Everything else just feels dull. Are they worth the hassle though? Idk probably not lol

I think I could get one out soon! Right now I definitely Fam cheese it and while I understand the mechanics of the fight despite that I'm not yet 100% on alllll the mechanics. I feel like I stumble through it with overwhelming damage more than anything lol
From purely the perspective as a boss mule, I'd say Dual Blader has the edge. They have a lot of nice utility and short cooldowns that allow them to breeze through easy bosses. To be fair to CM, they have short cooldowns too, but a lot less utility than DB.

Yeah Rath I’m a 270 Demon Avenger If your running lvl 30 frenzy it’s a 6/10 difficulty with still good damage If your going lvl 29 it’s 9/10 difficulty maybe 10 but the damage is ridiculous Wouldn’t go 29 until I get a RFS. Appreciate your videos best maplestory ones to watch

They need bossing improvements, as in give them a second teleport that works like Evan's current teleport and that be perfect for bossing. There is a bunch of smaller things that need to be improved as well. Plus reworks for the 3 useless, dead skills 1st through 3rd jobs are needed.
I avoided the class for a loooong time purely off reputation and my experiences at 1st-4th job but I was genuinely surprised by their 5th job. Burst is satisfying to use (not counting DMG done) and I especially love their ability with the 10 charges that can function like a key held skill.
If they add a bit more vertical range and maybe one more fireball for BW. It would be great to play. I have one as a 250 boss mule and they kinda suck to train with. Bossing they are pretty decent. Especially being to burst damien in P2 with pizza cutter above his nerf balls
If you pick a non Aran/shade it will use up the wildcard burn. If you pick a Aran or Shade it will automatically pick the event burn for them specifically.
Burning a Hayato and Shade. Shade just for the crit damage. Hayato for crit damage, unique (I don't see many), and because they look like lazy grinders at 260+.
Hayato's are actually quite fun post 5th job! They were easily in my bottom 5 before ever 5th job advancing it. Great mobbing overall, very Dual Blader-like with rotating map wipers.

They have one already! If you mean a traditional up jump without the need to double tap up that's an option you can toggle by right clicking the skill that gives them their up jump
DK usually ended high up on endgame DPM charts and they're incredibly durable. Only real downside is their below average mobility makes them slightly slower at mobbing until you get some Sol Janus investment. They have good low cooldown map wipers to offset that.

I've finished many kdramas and animes while gaining many levels just pressing two buttons standing in the middle of the map.

im a beginner... is it reasonable to main a Bishop? Can i Boss alone? I want to support my Friends when we play together but i want to be able to solo Bosses also. Glad for any advise.
I'm no expert on Bishop but what I do know is they were used as the benchmark for DPS so classes were represented as a percentage of Bishops 100% and Bishop was often near the average to slightly below average area which is quite impressive for such a historically supportive class. Their support capabilities were recently nerfed quite hard and they received some changes to compensate. I can't tell you if those changes were positive overall but that's probably up to each player. My personal opinion is you'll be absolutely fine. Many of my boss mules are absolute bottom tier trash and they still feel adequate enough.
I love (but also hate) Phantom but it's not a class I would ever recommend to someone outside of a link skill. And sadly when I do I usually recommend newbies do it asap so they don't have many better classes to compare it to yet lol
currently my highest level is adele, but looking for a main that is low relatively low funded and strong long term to maybe main to, wondering which class would be good as i seen demon slayer or night walker are some of the top dpm, even zero. having trouble still bossing and if just based on the mobbing and slowly building up which character u think should be best starting out, as i know u did give a list but wanted to maybe narrow down to 1-2 to decide that will be good and fun to reach 260
I think you already have two great candidates in Night Walker and Demon Slayer, both incredibly strong with incredible utility. My personal pick would be Demon Slayer but I'm also not a huge Night Walker fan just because their playstyle doesn't resonate with me. Demon Slayer would have an easier start but Night Walker would have a stronger endgame, not that DS is weak by any means.

any thoughts on aran vs shade? im still deciding which one to hyperburn, i dont have experience with either past 200, im planning to just take one as a boss mule (I already have shade and aran legion block)
Unfunded Dual Blader will typically have better results. DB is a much easier class to execute properly and they also have baked in 100% IED on several abilities making their early bossing a lot smoother than some other classes. Prior to this update Shad would have likely had the advantage thanks to their naturally higher damage but DB received substantial buffs so they're probably a lot closer now.
It's mostly cause we get 2 Hyper burns and one is marked for ONLY Shade or Aran. Their reworks also possibly change what I currently know about them so it's harder to recommend them.
There are so many classes that are just as good and in some cases, better, than what I put on the lists. They're just personal recommendations based on what I like, what I know and what I know people typically enjoy as far as class popularity goes!
Might wanna check my recent Phantom video for a more in depth version! I think they can be fun but they have numerous problems and frustrating aspects.
Another great option and if I had made the video longer it would have appeared in some other lists. Great grinding, good DPM although with bossing you really need patience for keeping their summons up on the boss sometimes. Think putting down summons/marking the ground during Lucid while she flies around.
I'm personally burning an Aran, and despite my Shade already being 250 and basically having "no choice" I would have burned one anyway. I know it's all doom and gloom but their DPM and FD losses don't really matter to me, as long as they function I'm all good. That aside I know NOTHING of their new rework other than the negativity. That made it hard to recommend, and their legion block of course well...it's bad.
The fact that they're like the premiere Summon class probably props them up quite a bit. They may have a lot of solid competition in classes like Lara/Kanna/Cannoneer etc but I think if someone asked "I wanna have minions/summons" you'll probably tell them Corsair
idk what with Nexon on character that "don't have up jump" ? WTF NEXON ? why everyone got up jump then some just dont ??? i've been wanting to main a hero for a long while but the no up jump kinda irritate me :V and since dual blade just got up jump, can we make it for every class ?
Odd there no kanna in the mobbers list to her hold kit is nothing but map clean as if hayto he need to be put in ghe difficult list or fun list he kit is fun but the part that make him difficult is the fact one of he skill lock you down if not exit right which can get you kill in boss fight and i think you forgot lara or what ever her name that summon a lot she need to be in the mob list to
So again, these aren't top lists or the best of the best, just personal recommendations. Every patch the Kanna community is doomsaying so I find it incredibly hard to recommend anyone ever actually invest into such a volatile character (future-wise). There are lot's of great mobbers around, I just picked some of my favorite ones!
Just a victim of trying to brief is all. I'm also not the most well versed on the current state of Xenon aside from knowing they're insanely strong, makes it hard to speak on them.
Did I say they specially don't work? I might have but Sea Wave aside I think they work extremely well, they just kinda underperform and break our fingers.
Mihile is invincible 66% of the time, probably a bit more with server latency buff duration shenanigans. That small window they're vulnerable they're passively resisting a small amount of %HP damage.
From my experience with a boss mule, not bad but a little clunky feeling is all. In endgame DPM charts I seem to recall them being average to below average.
Both are great! I would say a big decider would be if you'd rather have a more complex class like Shadower or a simpler class like Bowmaster. Both are top tier grinders and have a lot of bossing utility to keep them alive.
I know they're fantastic at mobbing but I know next to nothing of their bossing capabilities. They do respectable damage but that's really where my PF knowledge ends. Cool as animations/theming though!
Keep in mind my list is not a top/best list, just personal recommendations! Zero is my personal least favorite class so I honestly don't know anything about how they really function, it was a get to 200 and never touch again class.

Yes, Lara is _the_ lazy mobber. Especially after 6th job with their hexa summons. River and then just float around while exploding your summons.

Infinity tip: You look at the cooldown on the skill itself in the area where all your skills are, not where the buff is.

Their support capabilities were recently nerfed quite hard and they received some changes to compensate. I can't tell you if those changes were positive overall but that's probably up to each player.
My personal opinion is you'll be absolutely fine. Many of my boss mules are absolute bottom tier trash and they still feel adequate enough.
Demon slayer is really “well rounded”, can’t say it any better. An absolute unit of a boss slayer. And training is getting easier.

I love (but also hate) Phantom but it's not a class I would ever recommend to someone outside of a link skill. And sadly when I do I usually recommend newbies do it asap so they don't have many better classes to compare it to yet lol
currently my highest level is adele, but looking for a main that is low relatively low funded and strong long term to maybe main to, wondering which class would be good as i seen demon slayer or night walker are some of the top dpm, even zero. having trouble still bossing and if just based on the mobbing and slowly building up which character u think should be best starting out, as i know u did give a list but wanted to maybe narrow down to 1-2 to decide that will be good and fun to reach 260
I think you already have two great candidates in Night Walker and Demon Slayer, both incredibly strong with incredible utility. My personal pick would be Demon Slayer but I'm also not a huge Night Walker fan just because their playstyle doesn't resonate with me. Demon Slayer would have an easier start but Night Walker would have a stronger endgame, not that DS is weak by any means.

any thoughts on aran vs shade? im still deciding which one to hyperburn, i dont have experience with either past 200, im planning to just take one as a boss mule (I already have shade and aran legion block)
Right now Shade probably has all the pros balance-wise. Plus it's got the best legion block (Crit DMG) so you really can't go wrong with it!
Shadower or dual blade for unfunded f2p and why? Im in dilemma between these two
Unfunded Dual Blader will typically have better results. DB is a much easier class to execute properly and they also have baked in 100% IED on several abilities making their early bossing a lot smoother than some other classes.
Prior to this update Shad would have likely had the advantage thanks to their naturally higher damage but DB received substantial buffs so they're probably a lot closer now.
Is this also accounted for the Aran + Shade revamp? Just don't see any of their name on here wondering if they're still bad after the revamp...
It's mostly cause we get 2 Hyper burns and one is marked for ONLY Shade or Aran. Their reworks also possibly change what I currently know about them so it's harder to recommend them.

There are so many classes that are just as good and in some cases, better, than what I put on the lists. They're just personal recommendations based on what I like, what I know and what I know people typically enjoy as far as class popularity goes!

Thoughts about Phantom?
Might wanna check my recent Phantom video for a more in depth version! I think they can be fun but they have numerous problems and frustrating aspects.

Another great option and if I had made the video longer it would have appeared in some other lists. Great grinding, good DPM although with bossing you really need patience for keeping their summons up on the boss sometimes. Think putting down summons/marking the ground during Lucid while she flies around.

I'm personally burning an Aran, and despite my Shade already being 250 and basically having "no choice" I would have burned one anyway. I know it's all doom and gloom but their DPM and FD losses don't really matter to me, as long as they function I'm all good.
That aside I know NOTHING of their new rework other than the negativity. That made it hard to recommend, and their legion block of course well...it's bad.
Kinda surprise Corsair is not on the list for least played at 260
The fact that they're like the premiere Summon class probably props them up quite a bit. They may have a lot of solid competition in classes like Lara/Kanna/Cannoneer etc but I think if someone asked "I wanna have minions/summons" you'll probably tell them Corsair

They're certainly good but to do max mob/hour maps they do take a bit more effort than some mother classes.

idk what with Nexon on character that "don't have up jump" ? WTF NEXON ? why everyone got up jump then some just dont ??? i've been wanting to main a hero for a long while but the no up jump kinda irritate me :V and since dual blade just got up jump, can we make it for every class ?
Explorer warriors have that skill that acts like an up jump and it's getting a big buff this patch, it's going to be way faster
Hero is actually the one Warrior I don't miss a real up jump on, their little teleport thingy works exceptionally well! DK, Mihile and Pally are pain.

Odd there no kanna in the mobbers list to her hold kit is nothing but map clean as if hayto he need to be put in ghe difficult list or fun list he kit is fun but the part that make him difficult is the fact one of he skill lock you down if not exit right which can get you kill in boss fight and i think you forgot lara or what ever her name that summon a lot she need to be in the mob list to
So again, these aren't top lists or the best of the best, just personal recommendations. Every patch the Kanna community is doomsaying so I find it incredibly hard to recommend anyone ever actually invest into such a volatile character (future-wise).
There are lot's of great mobbers around, I just picked some of my favorite ones!

Just a victim of trying to brief is all. I'm also not the most well versed on the current state of Xenon aside from knowing they're insanely strong, makes it hard to speak on them.

Mihile is invincible 66% of the time, probably a bit more with server latency buff duration shenanigans. That small window they're vulnerable they're passively resisting a small amount of %HP damage.

From my experience with a boss mule, not bad but a little clunky feeling is all. In endgame DPM charts I seem to recall them being average to below average.

Both are great! I would say a big decider would be if you'd rather have a more complex class like Shadower or a simpler class like Bowmaster. Both are top tier grinders and have a lot of bossing utility to keep them alive.
What about pathfinder ?
I know they're fantastic at mobbing but I know next to nothing of their bossing capabilities. They do respectable damage but that's really where my PF knowledge ends. Cool as animations/theming though!

Personally, I had/have a lot more fun playing AB rather than DW. But it's really subjective. It all depends on what one likes.

Keep in mind my list is not a top/best list, just personal recommendations! Zero is my personal least favorite class so I honestly don't know anything about how they really function, it was a get to 200 and never touch again class.
