    1. This dance is self-choreographed
2 Jun is a bomb dancer and can pratically do martial movements like The8 (watch the Who performance, the one of the award show, where Jun had to replace Minghao). He is, in my opinion, the best dancer in the whole group, because of the combo power-control and sensuality-sharpness

    "I've been sleeping on Jun"
That's such a sad thing, cause so many people are sleeping on him which i totally can't understand. He's always has been the best along with Hoshi, just watch his old fancams.
In a question where Dino was asked what he learned from the other members he mentioned powerfulness from Jun. Seungkwan and Mingyu always have been admiring Jun's dance in the trainee days. At live performances, the only ones who kill you with outstanding stage presence is Jun and Hoshi. Jun is one of the best dancers in Kpop, but he doesn't get to show it. He also doesn't make covers/choreos like the other members, cause he has other priorities, but he is made for dancing. His moves are powerful, sharp and clean, yet very elegant and beautiful. His body control is insane and he has the best stamina in the group. For me, Jun delivers and captures with his moves just like Hoshi and Woozi. Plus Jun is tall with 182cm which is a disadvantage as a dancer. He belongs to the 0,0001% Kpop dancers who are so tall and have incredible dance skills. His godly body shape enhances his movements even more. He has the most gorgeous silhouette. He was also voted as the top 10 idol who explode with sexiness on stage.
Hands down, Hoshi, Jun and Dino are definitely my favorite dancers, following Woozi and The8. I would rank Jun even higher, but I respect Hoshi and Dino for their creative minds as dancers/choreographer too much. A very known japanese dancer also mentioned Dino, Jun and Hoshi as his top 3 dancers in SVT. Sad that Jun is still so underrated overall.

Amazing points! Will look at him more now on. I think he is easily overshadowed because he doesn’t take as many solo opportunities as other members. All members are just as talented as the next and they all equally deserve to be on SVT! Thank you for stanning Jun 🙌🏼🙏🏼

@@ElliottNewVillage Yes, he doesn't cause he isn't confident even though he has every right to be confident and show what he is made of. He rather gives credit to other than himself. Jun is an extremely selfless and self-sacrificing person, that's why carats are very protective when it comes to Jun. He has suffered way too many unbearable injustices over the years, but he still the most grateful, positive and thoughtful member. Jun is someone who would burn himself, so he can keep others warm. A very pure, caring and gentle person. Carats call him the member with the golden personality, he really has the most beautiful soul. It's sad that he doesn't see his own worth as a singer and dancer. It shows why he lacks in freestyle or don't make dance covers. He belongs to my favorite dancers. I wish he would become more selfish and take more solo opportunities. I'm thankful for people like you who acknowledge his skills. I'm pretty sure SVT members watch your videos and take in your feedbacks and comments. So thank you!

@@LovelyTaemin93 I wouldn't say Jun's freestyle is lacking, he has one of the coolest moves when they do some spontaneous things or when no one is watching. It's more like him lacking self-confidence dancing alone when all eyes are on him. He can get very very nervous and shy.

From watching the performance many times, I personally think that their performance represented balance. Like the Yin and Yang. We see that both of them are connected in a way and without darkness there is no light and vice versa. It shows how a person can be balanced in a way. Even we have a dark side. The dark isn't exactly bad. Both elements take control when needed. You can't just choose one side. You will return to a perfect balance. LOL, tha was just my opinion so don't mind this comment.

  • @El-vq8tx
    @El-vq8tx 4 года назад +13

The two of them actually choreographed and wrote the song. It was initially in Chinese but they translated it into Korean to help them with the language and then it was too good not to put in their album lol. Other than the 2 of them being members of the Performance Unit and the only Chinese members in the group I actually really like the combination of the two of them. Their personalities are kind of opposites while Jun can be very playful and outgoing Minghao is more of a calm and more reserved person. But what brought them together and made them really close is the fact that they only had each other and they were the only ones that understood each other for a long time because of the language barrier. They are probably the closest members in seventeen because of that and while they are close because of their situation and their personalities are opposites they wouldn’t trade each other for anyone. That chemistry shines whenever you see them interact and whenever they perform together.

I have always seen this song as being about your past and future selves. The past self endures hardships for the sake of the future self, hoping that they will come out stronger and better in the end. The future self looks back with gratitude and admiration on the past self for all they went through to reach this point. They are both part of the whole self. Which means, even if you reach the point where you have grown beyond your past self and might want to leave it behind (when they drop the ribbon and do solos), it is wise to return occasionally to those roots and appreciate how they got you to your current place in life, even if mistakes were made in the past (why they pick up the ribbon again at the end). Great reaction as always 💙

The ribbons (to my understanding) are representative of the 'red threads of fate' of Chinese mythology, the black and white represent their opposing selves, hence the mirrored performance (note, they take turns controlling the other). This is my personal favorite track of all-time and is the theme track for the greater part of my writing process (I'm primarily an urban fantasy writer).
The8's 'Falling' and the performance team's 'Lilili Yabbay'. Must watches.

If you ever get the chance, watch the korean/chinese lyrics comparison from seventeenlyrics. The two versions are actually talking to each other and it’s super cool. The whole concept here was about the connection between your past and future self which was symbolized in the rope. Jun and the8 also choreographed this as well. This comment might be a little late but just wanna add that, JUN's position in Seventeen is called the dance "mood maker". Just like the vocal and hiphop unit which consist of lead, main and sub vocalist/rapper, the performance also have lead dancers(Jun & The8) and main dancers(Hoshi & Dino). They don't have a sub dancer cos according to Hosh, they're all good lol. Anyway, between The8 and Jun who both are lead dancers, Jun is the "mood maker".
Now I'm not a dancer so I don't really know what that exactly means. But if you notice, in most of their choreos, Jun is always placed in the centre, and if not, he's always in front. Take a close look at Jun in their choreography videos, he's always the one who sets the "mood" of the whole choreo.
Ofc he is also placed on the sides or at the back cos he cant obvsly just stay in front the whole time, but he's always "placed" where they anticipate the camera will (possibly) shot during live performances. If it's just a dance break where no one's singing, you'll notice Jun is always somewhere in the front.
Lastly, according to Seventeen's choreographer and performance unit's leader, Hoshi, Jun has a really good facial expression when dancing. He looks good even when the choreo is difficult and so he's always put somewhere he could be easily seen (by the audience and by the camera)

eyy I miss your reactions to Seventeen's choreography videos. I wish you could also make an analysis to "Flower" which is choreographed by Dino of Seventeen.
    other recommendations:
247 ( has live performance only)
Without You & Our Dawn is hotter than Day ( I think these two maybe have the simplest choreography but still tho it's effective)

[PLEASE REACT ]This will be a really long comment, so please sit down, and enjoy this story-time. B.A.P is a 6 member boy group that debuted back in 2012 with their title track WARRIOR. Their vocal and rap line is INSANELY GOOD! And don’t even get me started on their dance line! Absolute FIRE! They were known because of their down-to-earth concept, that is, ever since they debuted their songs held a powerful meaning in each line, intending to wake the world up against unfairness, hardships, and abuse. Each of their MVs demonstrate how cruel, and difficult the world is. Even before BTS, not shading intended here, they talked about self-awareness, mental health, drug dealing, enemy gangs, equal rights, and so on. This influence came from their leader Bang Yongguk, who was an underground rapper along with his friend Himchan (also a member of the group), so no wonder B.A.P’s songs touch a part of humanity korean music is nowadays neglecting. Unfortunately, they are disbanded now. However, whilst they were still together they delivered great tracks which were mainly produced by them. Here are some of their most famous ones: ONE SHOT and SKYDIVE. These tracks are movie likes MVs, so if you are into it, then you’re gonna love it! These videos are particularly great, because they incorporate some songs which come along within the same album. Therefore, you have a grasp on what the rest of the album will sound like. Some other powerful songs are: BADMAN, “YOUNG, WILD AND FREE”, NO MERCY, 1004 (ANGEL), HANDS UP, HONEYMOON, WAKE ME UP, and POWER. Now, if you like these tracks and want to know more about them, they also got some laid back tracks with lots of acoustic sounds and R&B influence too. These are: RAIN SOUND, COFFEE SHOP (which some believe is a sort of continuation story of One Shot. Though it is not 100% confirmed), and WHERE ARE YOU? WHAT ARE YOU DOING?. If you ever feel down I recommend you listen to some more funny and happy MVs like FEEL SO GOOD, STOP IT and THAT’S MY JAM. B.A.P was breaking the chart with their tracks. They were called “rookie monsters” once they debuted because of how quickly they reached popularity. Whereas, if it wasn’t because of their lawsuit against their own company due to mistreatment and underpayment, they would have triumphed in the music industry. They went to a hiatus for over a year, and when they came back their popularity wasn’t as strong as it was back then. They had so much to give and deliver and a strong message to convey, yet they were forced to sit down.
Just in case you were wondering, B.A.P stands for “Best Absolute Perfect”.
Their logo is a mechanic (sort of) rabbit. Back when the company announced their debut day, they also talk about their concept. They were supposed to be rabbits that came from space to help planet earth from devastation.

Nowadays, they are mainly focused on their solo careers. Yongguk (the leader) released a few songs on their hiatus, while they were promoting and after leaving the company. One of them is “AM 4:44” which talks about more or less his feelings about betrayal and trust he had on their company. Really powerful song. His songs are mainly rapping, but he incorporates a lot of R&B in his music. As well as some hiphop, and a sort of trap type of sound. Daehyun (main vocalist) has released 3 solo songs. These are BABY, YOU'RE MY, and AIGHT. His mellow, though strong voice was made to sang ballads, but don’t let that surprise you yet because he is really capable of bewitched you with his strong vocals. YoungJae (lead vocalist) has two mini albums worth listening to. With a more popish and electo kind of sound. ANOTHER NIGHT and FOREVER LOVE are really entertaining and relaxing at the same time. Junhong aka ZELO (his stage name and lead rapper/ lead dander) also has two mini-albums, very different from each other. His first mini-album incorporates really good laid back tracks as well as great dancing songs such as QUESTIONS (title track) and FLASH, PARTY (which demonstrate how good of a dancer he is) On the other hand, we got his second mini-album (which is very special because he himself made and produced this whole album. The pictures, the sounds, the writing, the designs, every detail HE DID IT) is a more mature collection. I would say this was more like his style. Like I picture him having lots of fun while creating this. Strong lyrics about people who mistreated him and some other really explicit about “certain things”. Title track “SHE AND MALIBU”. Last but not least, we got JongUp (main dancer) who recently debuted as a solo artist with his single song HEADACHE. A retro and really upbeat track that I totally recommend listening to. I am sorry once again for this long comment, but this guys deserve so much love and using your platform may bring them back. People who listens to you, and haven’t heard of them, might look for their name and so we will make them appear again. New kpop generations ought to know who they were and how important their is message nowadays. This is my gift to you and to them. I owe it to them as a BABY/ WARRIOR :)
