Boat was painted with the same paint as motor. Never had luck of finding similar paint what they use on new Jon boats. You can try to get some forest green camo spray can from Home Depot or Walmart to see how it will match your boat. This is most economical way to go for you or you can spend hours on line to find good match and have to spend $80 for a gallon which will never match exactly your boat.
I have this exact moter. Can you tell me what is the best prop for one of these to up my top end speed but not loose to much bottom. I am currently only getting about 12 to 14 mph. I feel like it might be a 9.9 in disguise
Vojomatusenko- You said you used Parker oil based paint on that outboard motor? Never heard of that brand. But that color green matches that jon boat well. What shade of green paint is that exactly? I need to find some for touch up work on my Tracker 1436 jon and can't find the right color. Thanks... Your videos are great by the way!

vojomatusenko I called Tracker and they told me the actual color they use on the Tracker Topper jons is Forest Green Matte. So thanks man that was a good guess on the color name lol. Tracker also said that O'Reilly Auto Parts does color matching. Found out that can get expensive. I may just repaint the boat this winter with some Walmart camo green spray cans... By the way, after watching a bunch of your videos- I finally was able to find & buy an '88 Evinrude 15 hp 2 Stroke. Gonna test it out soon on my 1436. Seems like a 15 hp will make a little jon boat haul tail... Thanks again!
I love the sound of those old Johnsons!
