Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines was buggy when it came out because it had a rushed release. But there are lots of patches and fan mods now. The version from Steam comes already patched I think. Bloodlines 2 was meant to come out last year but, uh, something happened and who knows if it'll ever come out now.
Btw, where does she find the "cultured" version when she goes "research". I tried to Google and I can't find them. Does this mean she already have the cultured version installed?
The 18+ version had to be patched in from the developer or publisher's website at launch but later on, Steam's rules changed a bit and Neko Works eventually launched the 18+ DLC that can be installed through Steam as well.
