These two were my favorite so far of my 7/46. Doing Phelps, Tabletop, and Big Slide this weekend!

Those are good ones, Big Slide via the Brothers is a great summit. Best views of the Great Range.

Enjoying your videos! The Kid and I just did Giant and Rocky Peak Ridge yesterday. Giant is an interesting hike, with the switchbacks for the first third of the hike, then followed by a lot of open rock hiking. The Col between Giant and RPR was no joke.

Thanks for watching. Giant is not like other ADK High Peaks, it has zero warm up. Usually you have a few miles of gradual climbing. How are the Fall colors? I have never been there during peak Fall foliage.

@@OutsideChronicles Yeah, these were high peaks 5 & 6 for us. The colors were outstanding, particularly with the 360 degree panoramic view you get at RPR.

The Adirondacks are on my bucket list. I'm hoping to get to them while I still have the ability to hike some of the big ones.

They might only be 4000ft, but the High Peaks are no walk in the park. The terrain is tough and aside from Giant, there are not many switchbacks. It is a really special place. I hope you are able to get there someday. I'd be happy to suggest some "must see" things.
