Accounting conceptualisation is different and difficult in Odoo. For instance, how do you receive payment deposit of 7500 that is not cleared at Bank for 3 invoices of 3000 each to be applied as 2500 against each invoice? Also how do you record a payment received not cleared the Bank yet for non supplier or customer related transaction e.g. equity, loan repayment received etc. How can one receive money in and pay money out in Odoo with multiple allocation lines and multiple permutations..?
Odoo has concept of Journals, Bank Suspense, Uncleared Receipts, Payments.. Manual, Batch payments etc. These concepts are not documented or explained and it's difficult for beginners coming from other systems to grasp Odoo.
