Sorry to disappoint you guys, but this is only as some kind of apology that the creator made for the fans of his another creation "岁城璃心 鬼蜮咒原篇(KUIYU CHOUYUAN)" which was said would make to the big screen in China, but it seemed the investment or something went wrong so that never happened, meaning KUIYU CHOUYUAN is only about that 4:30 long. However, there's a rumor that "Fog Hill of the Five Elements" might be made into series, but since there aren't that many talented creators in China, this whole project will take God knows how long, and here in China the fans keep saying 'let's hope it happens in our life time' as a joke.

Actually.... If you look at a lot of animation studios they hire South Korean and Chinese animators often. Japan has been outsourcing for a very long time, I just don't think the average animation viewer realizes this or bothers to read the names in the credits. If it's the latter, you should know Chinese literature and culture are the primary source of inspiration of the majority of Shonen/battle manga over the last 30-40 years or so (that does seem to be changing, however :P). The transformations are definitely anime inspired as far as I can tell though lol

After watching the first episode, I would assume Fire and Ice (whom I now know to be "Water") were just allied rivals at worst. It's an uncommon trope for that to develop into a death match like this, but I'm still curious of what will lead to this confrontation. Shentu Ziye (Water) already seems like such a cool character in both the show and the opening that I'd hate to see him die like this; same with Wen Ren (Fire).

Here me out; The narrative before the fight tells how to much medicine is poison and when using just the right amount of poison can be used for medicine. So what if the fire warrior is the right brain of the person (passionate, emotional, aggressive, determined, and wild) and the ice warrior is the left brain (Calm, analytical, cold, apathetic, and in control). Well, I just saw 3 episodes of Fog Hill .. they just released it. I remember seeing this fight over and over again waiting for some anime to come out. Sure took it's time. It's still amazing nonetheless. [Anime - Wu shan Wu Xing]
For those who want to know the background of this, I can pinpoint it fairly well. This is obviously a xianxia or xuanhuan story (depending on cultivation system). This is indicated by the clothing, hairstyle, weapons, martial arts and body transformations used. Basically these two are fairly weak Body Cultivators (Dao of Water and Dao of Fire) considering they can still be calculated with mortal logic. To give a rough idea, Cultivators at the apex of Body cultivation could kill them instently with their breath, would accidentally destroy planets like Earth while fighting and can shatter space and time with a punch.

Before I talk about that, I must introduce about another animation which is 岁城璃心( suichenglixin）u can search that on RUclips, its director and animator is same with this animation. However his minds are totally different with his investor, so he chose to leave. If follow the plan, 岁城璃心 will release in 2016, because of that thing the promise cannot realize. So, that why he made this animation to compensate his fans. The animator's name is 林魂(Lin hung), and his new studio's name is 六道无鱼(liudaowuyu) u guys can search that on google or baidu, if interest about it.
Same person. He quits the studio when doing Kuiyu because of too many different opinions. Since so many people are waiting the Kuiyu comes out, he feels very sorry and do the Fog Hill as a compensation. As I know, Kuiyu will never come out. I feel so bad.

This is finally getting an anime after 3 years!
For those who want to know the background of this, I can pinpoint it fairly well. This is obviously a xianxia or xuanhuan story (depending on cultivation system). This is indicated by the clothing, hairstyle, weapons, martial arts and body transformations used. Basically these two are fairly weak Body Cultivators (Dao of Water and Dao of Fire) considering they can still be calculated with mortal logic. To give a rough idea, Cultivators at the apex of Body cultivation could kill them instently with their breath, would accidentally destroy planets like Earth while fighting and can shatter space and time with a punch.

Before I talk about that, I must introduce about another animation which is 岁城璃心( suichenglixin）u can search that on RUclips, its director and animator is same with this animation. However his minds are totally different with his investor, so he chose to leave. If follow the plan, 岁城璃心 will release in 2016, because of that thing the promise cannot realize. So, that why he made this animation to compensate his fans. The animator's name is 林魂(Lin hung), and his new studio's name is 六道无鱼(liudaowuyu) u guys can search that on google or baidu, if interest about it.

Same person. He quits the studio when doing Kuiyu because of too many different opinions. Since so many people are waiting the Kuiyu comes out, he feels very sorry and do the Fog Hill as a compensation. As I know, Kuiyu will never come out. I feel so bad.
