Oh. What pleasent surprise to see Bernard Pereira. What a player, he was ! Nobody could beat him for his shooting ability. I still remember going to Rsjendra Prasad stadium in Margao as kids. We too would wait outside and wait to hold a hand of ticket holder and walk into ground. Todays players are no match to such legends from Goa .Others who I call recall Andrew, Catao, Petlu a defender and many others who played for the love the game often those days "limbo soda" at half time. Legends like him will always remain Legends. Taking you for your interview. And getting memories of the yerter year football. I still go for matches now as well now only for ISL but nothing to match players of yester years. Keep doing your job and all the very best Bernard. Savio Mesquita.

As a youngster I have watched many of the matches of Vasco Club playing in many parts of India. The ABCD no team could match the standard of any formation . Football then was played with passion and not much financial gains. I remember his cousin used to play for Orkay in Mumbai. He talks about leather football which was harder to kick and head specially if you headed the lace side. India will never see players like the older days who had love and passion for the game. .
