Thanks, I was just about to make one of these and seeing the lessons you learnt was really helpful

Fun build! You could double up the steel on the “feet” for strength. Are you happy with your handle mount being at a 90 degree angle? Would it give you more leverage if it was at an angle instead of upright? Or it worked out just fine for you? I’m excited to see your next build 😃

It seemed to work for the job. But I will need to modify it next time I need to use it. With the rock breaker it was not hard at all to get the boards off. Just the feet bent. But that is an easy fix.

When you have finished adapting it wii be really strong. But may I suggest that the head is articulated and not solid. An articulated head spreads the pressure across the wood when you pull on the handle and it lessens the amount of splitting.

Cool project. What are you using the pallets for? Is the lumber good enough to use on feature builds?

All the wood will be used for features in my backyard trail. I have a few build designs I am working on. I hope to have one built this month if not next. All depends on how the weather goes.

@@RunBikeMike awesome! I look forward to watching. Maybe I should find some pallets to save on lumber costs for some of my builds.

@@bltbiking7448 if you can get them with 2x4s in them it is really worth it. But it is a lot of work.

Nice build! I think you'll be much happier with the steel handle. What's on the radar for your next feature?
