Thank you Zameer for taking me back to Santorini with your videos. It truly is a beautiful and stunning place to visit. Very romantic. I remember seeing the caldera view in the daytime and at night for the first time and it took my breath away. For anyone visiting please may I suggest a couple of restaurants to try Dimitri’s in Oia wonderful fish and seafood and out in the country Metaxi Mas in Exo Gonia delicious food and stunning views to the other side of the island. It is tucked away by the side of a church not visible from the road but well worth the find.
We are back to Crete in September staying in Elounda this time so have been watching your recent videos on as we have not explored the eastern part of Crete yet.

It certainly is. We went outside of Fira to explore different restaurants for that reason. I think you pay for the view in the restaurants on the caldera. Metaxi Mas really surprised us with the quality of the food and the price we paid at the end. In fact we thought the food was far superior to those in Fira. Authentic Cretan food is always a winner! Good idea to pre book a table! Dimitris is on the waterfront in Oia right at the very end the last restaurant. Amazing sunsets from there as well whilst eating dinner.

Santorini really feels magical. Though during the day on a hot day the reflected light and heat make your skin feel like it is gong to burn off. A nice wide brim hat is a must along with good sunglasses. The wraparound or enclosed kind are preferred but then everyone wants to look cool when they are strolling around with the international crowd. Oia is considered more upscale but you are going to tour both places so its just a matter of how much you want to spend on your hotel.

It's great that you make your videos without musical accompaniment and without panoramas from drones! The panorama from drones is already too banal. I like the natural view from the angle of a person shooting on foot and without music! And the video quality is awesome! Thanks!

Love the style of the houses/hotels, very chic. But it is so crowded. Too many people, it almost looks like a theme parc.
