Just discovered you. I've been doing pretty good but I'm on my first solo project. I normally work with guys that sort the mix out better than I can. Watching and learning. X
Thanks a lot for introducing the drum buss! It's amazing! Just used it on my track where I had some issues with a presence of the kick... Now it's there!!! Made my day! 🙂
i have a question regarding mixing your own project... should you export the frozen/flattened tracks and export them into a new mixing project (separate from the production project) so you don't get confused and sucked into sound designing (because you can see all of the previous fx chains) or do you just incorporate this mixing process into the production process after the previous fx chain or blend it in so you're "mixing as you go"?
@@LNADoesAudioStuff Have you got any video or would you maybe in the future do any video's on OTT compression in Live? I am struggling to understand how to use it and maybe if other people are too it could be useful, just making an idea suggestion!
You probably go too far with sound designing. We want to learn how to mix music rather than designing sound. I feel sleepy when you start going to design the sound.

Aaaaaaand I see you have a video on it... my bad 🙈
Love this, thanks for your hardwork
Glad you liked it ☺️
Beautiful tutorial
Thanks!
Every time you've added saturation in this video, you've made the output louder than the dry version.
hi hi hi your the bass has some ground noise ... thankyou for everything !!
❤️❤️❤️
"compreshore" is really making me going insane lol
that aside, you're so amazing at explaining and i'm grateful u exist
hah thanks! well I'm dyslexic and English is not my first language so lots of compreshores on this channel :)
Sorry. But the Bass sounds horrible with the saturation. Nobody hearing the Noise floor? Holly!

Subtle saturation is needed in mixing, to make sure sounds come though the mix. :)
It’s so funny how you say compressor lol love your tutorials though! Finding your page is really helping me out!
