Honouring your loved ones can be done a number of ways. His love language looks to be gift giving. His mom's appears to be acts of service. We're humans at the end of the day. As long as you're not hurting anyone, be and make others happy.

I disagree... pda and expensive gifts aren't replacements for public or private commitment. Maybe I was raised old school but that's not classy. Who else secretly getting bags and bracelets? Does he label them to make sure they don't get mixed up? Certain types don't mind being a secret as long as they get just as many gifts. Halle is not the messy type. He portrays himself as a public family man chasing his dreams, but then doesn't prove that's really who he is. I feel like he doesn't really respect her as a woman as much as he likes her as a woman.
