Until Fenty goes back and calibrates the undertones for all the deep/dark shades I’m not buying. It’s really a shame because other than the oxidizing to straight up orange, I love the pro filt’r matte formula. It holds up well during the hot and humid summer months here in Houston.
Literally! I’m not deep toned. I’m medium tan with a very neutral undertone and everything except the tinted stick oxidizes to a yellow or an orange 😭they need to figure it out!

The foundation definitely was giving what's up doc 🤣 at first but when you came back and everything was toned down and melted. It was giving glow from with in fresh! ✨️🤎💯
Chileeee it’s giving trump .. I always have a hard time finding a shade for me with Fenty foundations.. 🙄 but you did that .
Fenty needs someone in the lab over there in France because I personally believe their formulas are made over there France. If you’ve tried some of the French Luxury foundations in deeper shades they usually run super red. Which is crazy because France has the largest black community in Europe.

Fenty is owned by LVMH so you’re spot on about their formulas coming from France. Makes sense
As someone who lives in France I can tell you that the cosmetic industry does not care about catering to black people. In stores we're lucky to even get 2/3 deep foundation shades displayed, most of the time it's just 1. For Fenty, there's usually just one or 2 deep shades, Nars has just one which is New Caledonia and the deep bronzers are never displayed and the list goes on. We can only get the shades online. It's infuriating.
One thing that orange would work well for is color correction.
What I found is that the colors don’t translate from the old formula. I normally wear 385 and had to pick up 345 and it’s literal perfection.
I had to go a lil lighter in the new concealer to find something 👀 lemme go back to the store and start swatching
I have the same issue as you, I took 450 back! It’s going to be too dark and it’s red! This looks good on you after it settles. What shade concealer did you use? Fenty describes the new concealer in 445 as neutral.

I was 385 too, though it seemed orangey and I'm neutral/olive so I just never got to indulge in Fenty foundation. I'll check out that shade you mentioned

I have BEVER found my shade in Fenty. They were all too red or too orange. 😭However, my daughter is perfect in 420. It looks like her skin.
As much as I love rihi that her foundations just didn't do it for me. As far as as the line I just use her lip products. Her foundations always give an orange undertone
I always purchase the Fenty complexion products! But as much as Fenty changed the Game for makeup for people of deep colors I’m not checking for her like I used to. I have a unopened bottle of the Stunna matte lipstick in uncensored. Because the things I liked I needed a backup

I am a perfect 390 and I love Fenty as they are one of two brands that has my colour. Every other brand skips my shade! However this new formulation is way darker and redder than the original 390, I should have tried it before I bought it.
Ive never been able to wear Fenty because they are too red for me too!

That shade finally settled and it looks beautiful at first I agree it was giving carrot but you ate with this... Try a different shade and see if it's a better match I had to buy two shades depending and I love them both

I noticed that they seem to be investing in the online matching technology. That being said they probably should’ve said your shade in pro-matte might not be the same as luminous. That said… the finish is nice
I think you are a true 450. It is Fenty's deep neutral. This looks nice, but i can't deal with anything luminous.
She is! I wore 450 and it was orange got 445 and it was perfect.
450 at least in the pro filtr was orange so I got 445 when they extended the shades. I assumed the shades correlate but from other comments I’m seeing they do not and you’ll either have to go up or down 🥴

Ok so it's not just me 😭. I got a sample for 410 and 420 and it was too orange. The skin tint in 20 is perfect for me. This is more ridiculous because I work for one of those big makeup stores 😭
Tbh it takes a person a very long time to go through a full size product. When it was just a run and go get it community. I waisted a lot of money on products I didn’t put a dent in. But I feel bad about letting it go

Love Fenty but I’m just personally not a fan of dewy or luminous foundations period! Ima soft matte/matte girly. Lately I’ve been digging the no makeup look (living in Las Vegas less is more in the summer) so I’m playing with the Fenty Skin tent foundation stick

You will need your add blue foundation (La Girl) to make it work unfortunately if you don’t like the shade. I got it in 470 when I wore 450 normally

Fenty foundation shade has always been off on my skin tone. Orange!!! And it doesn’t settle well on my skin. I only like their lip gloss and bronzers. Everything else is a pass for me.
I think you may have gotten a bad batch of the 445. Mine doesn't look orange at all..
You use 420 in the skin tint? Wow they range the shades all over the place! I was using 420 in the old hydrating foundation and powder foundation but I don't think we're shade twins. The powder one became too warm for me so I'm now 380 in the powder. Now on to the video.

Hey beauty! It’s too orange! I tried it and ran the other way. It’s funny because we used to wear the same foundation shades. I believe at one point you were a shade or two deeper than me. Do you feel like the use of sunscreens and skincare has changed your complexion a bit (because I know you’re not bleaching)? I find with age I’m a bit lighter now too.
