Omg i thought that once you’ve formed a good relationship with your SA and have been purchasing regularly (up until your first quota bag offer) that this “pre-spend” game would be over!! Two incredible bags and colourways Chenney! Great tips on cities (site-tees) requirements. As I Saw this online.
Hermes uses ostrich “Strutho Camelus” leather which is farmed in South Africa so you do not need a CITES certificate for this skin. You must have a CITES for Hermes bags / items made from endangered genus like Lizard, Alligator or Crocodile exotic skins. Stating import/export countries and name of farm the skins are sourced. The EU and AUS are particularly strict so to check what applications or docos are needed before travelling with the goods. Love the video and such great tips on Ostrich bags wear and care.

I was going to mention the same thing. It's always best to keep a photocopy of your CITES Certificate in the pocket of your exotics. I love Gris Meyer. Great choice!

hi! I work for LV in Spain and we just have cites for python, crocodile and lizard. Ostrich is not as controlled as this other leathers :)

Yep gonna do a recent Hermes purchase video soon but it's like a bunch of stuff from I think 2/3 bags but just some of stuff I got not all since I am using a lot and some I gifted
In my store, I have to spend a lot of money buying exotic leather small size BK .
My ratio was 1: 4.5 for crocodile 😅
The competition rate is high. When I asked for a Croc B, SA told me, "Let's build it up together."
That means you have to spend a lot of money.
I really spent a lot of money and then I got an offer for the crocodile b 25 bag. At my store, kelly exotic leather other bags ( danse, pochette) are quota bags. It is so difficult to get exotic leather.
Oh that's really high like the cost of the croc bag being 1 and then 4.5 times that price? Like pretty much 200K?

thanks for sharing! I find your chit chat on your shopping pattern really helpful to benchmark myself. Is $1000-2000 considered low in your visit, and what is considered on the higher end on a visit? Assuming you’re visiting once a month? I find it hard to pace myself somethings and went too fast… 😢
I think without buying like other bags/more expensive leather goods/expensive jewelry probably 8000. So I'm trying to like balance it a bit more b/c on average I spend like 4-5K but now I want to get regular leather in the future so I need to spend way less if I aim so spend through a span of a year lol
@@HeyChenny i see. So assuming the regular leather is half the price of exotic, then you’ll need to reduce your monthly spend to 2-3K. This is roughly 1:2 then. That’s probably the going rate right now!?
I would try to keep it less. I know a lot of ppl do 1:2 but I've seen some people that have done less...I don't know if it will work but let's see hahaha Maybe I will just have to go in every few months and not every month lol

For me I’ve just exceeded 1:2 😭. But hopefully I receive two bags this year? I have one on my wish list that should come this year, plus a SO. Fingers crossed.

Is it true that Hermes birkin bags are now also being manufactured in China? Could you check the inside label? Despite being "made in France", the inside label should list all the countries of origin involved. Nothing wrong with China, but just curious since that'd be a new shift in manufacturing for Hermes.

Not true, all Hermes bags are made in France, shoes in Italy, watches in Switzerland. Fakes are made in China though
