Arvi Teikari: Baba is You What now | Games Now!

Baba Is You is a puzzle game where the rules you have to follow are present as blocks you can interact with. A demo version of Baba is You was created at Nordic Game Jam 2017, after which Arvi worked on a full game resulting in releases on multiple platforms. In his talk, Arvi Teikari will summarize the design process of Baba Is You, and reflect on the aftermath of the game’s release in terms of how it affected Arvi’s future projects.
Arvi Teikari is an indie game developer based in Helsinki, Finland. His main interest is in solo development and puzzle games that aim to surprise the player. In addition to Baba is You, Arvi is also known of his game Environmental Station Alpha and being part of the creator team of Noita.
