Some of my fondest memories is when my two daughters were little girls and I would tune into a classical radio station and they would dance in our livingroom in their tiny ballet shoes and ballet outfits. Those evenings are a very pleasant memory that will remain etched in my mind forever.

Tell me where have all these talens gone? Why dont we have such masterminds anymore? Our modern lifestyle does not allow for this? Or mankind lost something forever? Modern composers truly agonizing in the dust compared to this music.
Easy times don’t make masterminds. The brain needs challenges to develop to a stage of higher power and we are in a timeframe where information and knowledge are so easy and very accessible so this results in massification not geniuses, generally speaking.
Perhaps too many people are not thinking about putting in hard work anymore as though everyone is supposed to get the world handed to them on a silver plate.
Because industry kills creativity. Plus older artists actually saw their work as art and improved over time compared to most rock/pop artists who fall off after like a 10-20 year time frame if lucky.

Wonderful. As we entered several young women were outside playing violins. Even though we were in a city, it was very quiet. It brought tears to my eyes (and I am male and over 50 at the time.).
