i'm a side line writer and my one character Miyu Tatsu (her name translates roughly to Beautiful Night Dragon, Dragon who dances in the Moon light etc.) is modeled off of the samurai. she has a dark past as a mercenary and isn't proud of it, but due to her code of honor she is loyal to those who she has made a contract with, no matter what their morals are. i've made this her theme song and am gonna have a "Blaze of Glory" chapter dedicated soley towards her later on. every time i listen to this song the ideas just start going about what i'm gonna do for that chapter.

You never disappoint! This is just amazing. This also got me thinking of not just samurais, but various warriors (knights, Greeks, musketeers, Rajput, vikings, etc) coming together to fight against one massive force from a villainous opposition. That'll be one hell of an RPG group.
Well what I'm thinking is that the villains do what they can, but a heroic team like this would certainly meet their match or something. The villains fight on but the good guys prevail to their heroic, warrior valor spirit and camaraderie ;)

Oh, and could you tell us a few words about technical stuff? E.g. what software(s) do you use for arranging, composing, mixing your music... or maybe some music theory stuff that is helpful for these covers?
It really depends,most work is done in Reaper (it doesnt really matter,most DAWS provide same results,you just choose one that you are comfortable working in), instruments also depends on song,for hard orchestra i use Orchestral Essentials (Kontakt 5). String Ensembles are from EWQL gold edition (older covers are done with Silver edition), most string ensembles are created by me because i dont like one that comes with program. Drums are most interesting in my opinion, drums that you hear are not regular orchestral drum ensemble, i use war drums (EWQL) I dont have routine for mixing that i always follow, it really depends. Sometimes it works one way, sometimes another.Mixing is most exhausting, i always try few mixes and listen to it milion times before i decide which sounds best. Composing part,i always learn song on guitar first and then rearange it for other instruments.Then i create MIDI tracks and work on them untill they sound realistic.If you leave MIDI as it is it will just sound unnatural. Anyway,practice makes it perfect, check my older covers (Resist and bite) and you will notice progress that i made over time. I hope you can understand this haha (English is not my first language)

It lacks better mix, winged hussars can sound exactly like this but it needs new mixing and mastering.
