For Patreon, there are so many things you can do! I feel like a monthly printable (the coloring page but already colored) is great. Also, showing your sketchbooks or some BTS of your YT videos. ANDDDD CHLOE, YOU HAVE TO SHOW THE MERCH ON YOUR MAIN CHANNEL!! Otherwise, people won't even know they CAN support you in that way!

The Craft Club would be such a cute patreon tier. Like a cross between the sort of monthly prompts places like Hobbycraft do but crossed with a more intimate art box feel if you did limited runs of kits/boxes/designs for the relevant patreon tier to then get involved with. Livestreams could be you all getting stuck in once every month or quarter doing that season's project. Doesn't have to be just colouring/painting either, but could branch into all sorts of crafts. I'm sure Merlin wouldn't mind being the model for a cross stitch or crochet pattern!
The bears desk mat is so adorable. It’s giving very whimsical rhyme/storytime/lullaby vibes. I just love it.

The desk mat is soooooo cute!! I've seen sets of desk items like a wrist rest, mouse pad with wrist rest and a matching coaster also. Your little bear with the star would be great for something like that.
Thank you for giving the company names you are using. I have been in a stalemate of working on starting a shop while working in my own business (and attempting to find time to work on designs for myself, lol). This past summer has been difficult in our household and has *really* emphasized the need for a "passive income". I am really enjoying watching your shop growth and more importantly, your excitement with your shop and designs. If you watch Ten Hundred, he does a shirt of the month club, which is a really cool idea of having almost a stock amount of shirts a month he knows he has to order (every month a different design), and then if the design does exceptionally well, or he bought some extra, he throws them up in the shop for everyone else.

Wow, that desk mat is outstanding! Plus those sweaters are such a beautiful green. Sage green is one of my favourite colours! I think tote bags are a very good idea also. Everything is.going to be perfect for the launch. Good luck to you and hubby for launch day. l'ill be there!

Something that I’ve gotten from an artist on Patreon is they upload the psd file for select artwork, and I love that so much as a learning and reference tool! It would be amazing if that was something you offered, but I can understand why some artists would be hesitant to do that.
Yay Chloe!! Congratulations on the website domain and all the changes you are making. I have actually been really loving the more vlog style, random videos you post on this channel. In a weird way these videos feel more genuinely you than your other channel. Not that your art videos aren’t genuine; you are definitely an authentic creator & person. But these videos have a different feel than the ones on your other channel. More relaxed maybe? Not sure but I will definitely continue to support both channels. Looove the craft design. 💜When you first showed the designed, I said too myself ‘that would be cute on a tote bag’. 😂 Then you showed the tote and the zipper. I said ‘sold! I’m buying that. Lol. I too think totes should have zippers. Side note: I would purchase that design as a die cut sticker and a print too. Really excited to see what other changes or additions you make! 🖌️🎨👩🏾🎨

So many creators are having issues with RUclips so are now branching out. I know myself I wasn’t getting your videos on my timeline I had to go and search to make sure I was still following (I was) and catch up.
I love your care and thoughtfulness to really put out the best quality of products with your amazing designs, it all looks amazing! I love those designs so much, that vintage style looks so cool and the bears are perfect. I really enjoyed the crystal castle decorating, I admire the dedication despite the headaches.
If you are planning to do thank you stickers, you should make Merlin your thank you stickers.

I think I read someone in your comments suggest a pencil case-I second that. And a big YES! to a Merlin sticker. You did such a darling job on his drawing. It would be adorable as a sticker and/or print?m!? I’ve been a fan of yours for 6 years and I was bummed that I missed out on your bear-book during Inktober. I love each one of those illustrations. Any thoughts on selling any of those in your shop as a digital download as a coloring page? Your design for your new logo is the best! You could draw a line of different art supplies in that style and place one of your fantastic sarcastic phrases and it would sell out! Keep up the great creating you’ve been doing. You are the best!

The desk mat is gorgeous! A similar idea would be a play mat for card games (magic the gathering, etc.). My husband plays the Disney Lorcana game, and the players seem to be really into their play mats

What sizes would you like to see? I just may need to change manufacturers because they only make the one size! I can look into different sizes for sure though

I follow you since forever... and i never had notifications. I dont want notifications. Everything is off. I know the people I follow. And I just do every day my tour and watch as soon as possible. As you are in the us and I am in Europe I cant watch immediately anyway. But I never miss a video of my youtubers I follow... I love your videos so... don't stop... just keep what you are doing and concentrate on what you like. ❤❤❤

I wish my allergies would tolerate a desk mat, because I adore that artwork. It’s all the things I love; starry moonlit night scenes, the colors, bears. I think it will do really well. Adults and kids can use them for a ton of things, not just at the desk.
They could use them for putting together Legos for instant. Ooh, make certain you mention that when you post about them.
I know jewelry makers who use mouse pads and whatnot for protecting the surface they are working on too.

Hey Chole, I just wanted to let you know that some channels are actually having issues with RUclips where RUclips its self is unsubscribing and turning the notification bell off for people who watch channels. This recently happened to a RUclips channel called 'Your New Zealand Family', RUclips actually had been almost sabotaging them by unsubscribing their subscribers or turning the notification bell off for their subscribers and people noticed that when they looked at their channel (since it wasn't poping up for them anymore) they saw that they some how were unsubscribed/notifications were off when the person never turned them off or unsubscribed. This has been happing to many RUclipsrs recently and 'Your New Zealand Family' even had a problem where RUclips didnt pay them any money for there two videos since they had "low views". 'Your New Zealand Family' ended up going to a RUclips meet up and they talked to a head of RUclips to get some answers and so far they said it was a glitch, but its being looked into to be fixed. I just wanted to let you know as your video may not have shown up for people who wanted to watch as they may have been unsubscribed or had notifications turned off unwillingly so maybe you should let people know to check if its on just because RUclips is turning it off. I hope this helps!

If you can order some gildan brand shirts that go up to unisex 5xl i would be able to buy clothing. I hate being on the very tail end of shirt sizing. Extended sizing even if have to pay more is worth having that option even if the quality of it isn't as good as the one you use its better for us big and tall people to be able to have or even have a redbubble or tee spring option because they have the sizing available to create the design. Just would be something to mention. I'm tired of buying tote bags from artists when I'd really love a shirt cuz they don't offer extended sizes

Yeah YT has been messing things up for everyone recently, I'm so sorry your dealing with it as well.
They have a new notification settings that is set to default some notifications. Some users who have the bell icon on may have to change their notication settings to always be notified. Not everyone knows about this
We r all having so many issues all across yt I am having same issues and it's so frustrating and seems yt isn't doing anything other then all these different changes that are seemingly hurting all of us smaller channels. It takes a toll on us creators and I don't think yt really gets it honestly.

Hullo Chloe, I know you have plenty of friends to ask advice of. You might just send an e-mail to others who do clothing like Baylee Jae and 10 Hundred (Peter) or ask Red or Nicky in his fulfillment center. I did sign up for your shop opening. I have always said you should use imagery you have already created, such as Arthur the Bear from your InkTober book! You have and own the images and all you might do is color some of them in and the video would be an advertisement for inclusion to your store! From Prints to vinyl iron-ons use your channel for advertising! DO not let your fan base go wanting, Good Luck!

The thing Ive noticed some of the youtube art channels like yours is the content moves further and further away from you actually doing art. From following you for quite a long time and watching lots of videos, there is very little any more showing your unique skills and talents as an artist - so that doesn't make me think of those sites as a source for products to buy. I enjoy watching your vdieos, but the only RUclipsrs I have purchased from are a Nerdforge sketchbook and multiple Jazza boxes because they both constantly show their own talent and practice as artists - I trust their knowledge and skill transforming into good products to get. So if you want to switch to making more money from products, I'd suggest upping the actually doing art content, and less unboxing, art hack, etc etc type videos. That design you have for the desk mat is so cool - and I dont see much of that sort of content from you. Would love to see more.
I make art in at least 50% of my content. Even if it’s a box video, I’m usually using the products to make art. Also, the majority of people don’t want to see simple “making art” videos on my channel as my channel has never been simply making art, it has always been hacks, trying things, using products since very early on. The reason you see channels move away from making just art is because it just doesn’t perform well on the platform except for the rare few. Trust me, it would be a lot easier on me if I just sat and drew but that isn’t enough for people or the algorithm anymore. Everything needs a twist to it to perform well. Whenever I would make plain art videos, they would flop, I’ve talked about this a lot - and it’s also incredibly tough to make the best quality work every single week when you’re on a tight schedule. The quality of your art goes down when you’re a one person team and it’s not easy to just sit and make good quality art week after week, it’s impossible.
Nerdforge uploads every few weeks, which she can easily afford to do due to the fact she has a large Patreon and gets a million views per video so she is able to dedicate a lot of time per video and not worry about views or income. Jazza has a team behind him that helps him edit and film as well.
@@ChloeRoseContinues yes, it’s a shame how much impact ‘the algorithm’ has. And yes, I know you are doing arty things often, I just don’t feel like we get to see you really pursue your own style or best standard often, which I’d like to see more of, that’s what I like watching. It you gotta do what you gotta do, whatever works best for you. Good luck with the new product launch!
I think the secret (imo, I am no yt just watsher) is to build up a comunity. If I may be honest. In some of your videos the vipe is just "dang I have to do this for the algorythm" meaning the fun and the chemie is missing. It seems like you are forced to do something you don't like.
Yes preorder is your friend. If you comunicate it well no one will be disapointed if the order takes a bit longer and you dont have a ton of death business capital laying in storage. I like the color of the sweater.
Respectfully, I’ve been building a community for ten years, I’ve sold many products in the past including my paintbrush line so this isn’t my first time selling anything, just my first time with a new website outside of my other business name and new products :) I’ve sold thousands of products, prints, stickers, and paintbrushes in the past few years, and have a book releasing in December on pre-order. And yes unfortunately it is a matter of making content that the algorithm and people want to see because when I don’t make those kind of videos..people don’t get recommended them. I’m very lucky some people have been following me since very early on, and I started this channel to connect more with my community. It’s the beast of RUclips, but you have to make videos the algorithm wants or they won’t recommend you. I always make a wide array of content to try new things that both I enjoy and I think others will enjoy. When you’ve been doing this a long time, coming up with fresh ideas is pretty tough.
@@ChloeRoseContinues I am a longtime follower. And I didnt mean to be disrespectfull ad all...just my opinion. What you already adjive is great. Imo, there are two ways (also just an opinion, doesnt need to be right or wrong) to make a channel...do what you want have fun and don't care about algorithm or feed the algorithm. In my thinking, building up a comunity can go without feeding the algorithm, but what do I know (for sure, no sacasm here) again just my opinion. I din't mean that you are not able to sell your products! I think preorder is just easier.

I love your videos! I've had to take a break from some of my regulars. I don't know if youtube is pushing creators to make more more more or if that is the creator on their own to make more money, but it has really turned me off. Most of the people I watch are doing like you and branching out into merchandise and books and such and it almost seems like they are creating 30 minute commercials for their own products EVERY SINGLE VIDEO. I've stopped watching several because their content is just lacking. They started out as a completely different channel, got big, and switched to increase views, but it's no longer content I care about. You seem to really care about what you put out. I enjoyed the diamond art even if it was probably the most mind numbing, tedious task for you. Stick with your unboxing or even pick up random art supplies and create something out of it. I love seeing you take a mess of nothing and turning out something beautiful!

Hi there. Didnt even know this channel existed and gonna be honest just bc of the lack of videos here. I would just post these vlogs or w/e you post here on your main channel. Esp this video l, should be showing your main peeps over there. I think you are spreading too thin and having to keep up 2 channels and patreon and a business, i feel like its cannibalizing yourself a bit. Focus on building your main channel and combine them
The plan is to eventually switch to this style of content on my main channel, which I’ve already built over the years with very different content. However I’m not spreading myself too thin because these vlogs are really easy to film over the span of a week or two and I enjoy making them without schedule. They’re really fun for me and lack any pressure whatsoever because I don’t have to worry about views since this channel isn’t even monetized. If I posted these to my main channel it would totally sink it, it has to be a slow progression. I’m slowly transitioning into products being my main thing since I’m trying to do more of what I enjoy, so for now this is a side thing, it’s a bit more work for the sake of the future being less work. For now my main channel is my main thing :)
