I have the complete Russian sheet of Opus 33 and 39 if that makes you feel at ease. All the numberings of the Etudes that I uploaded are corect. I checked most publishers just in case and the these numberings are still the "corect" ones. And to the other people: How can this be mayor for Rachs sake!!!!!!!
I performed both, they are both difficult and beautiful in their unique ways, required hours sitting on the bench and practicing ..... but, will true pianist care about which one is more difficult? Hope you can enjoy the music truly, but not the endless competing!
Quelle clarté de jeu, on entend absolument tout de la main gauche, respect minutieux du texte, idéal et merveilleux!
Holy shit.
The d minor etude belongs to Op.33 No.4, but it used to belong to Op.33 No.5, untill the original Op.33 No.4 was moved to Op.39 No.6, actually.

Magnificent playing and interpretation.
I will play it the next year. All compositions I played( except one concert (yet) in April) has got my father "kcotsob"
Clarity like no other, as typical of Ashkenazy lol
Directement a l'essentiel.Bravo monsieur Askenazy
I like it!
Well, before the original Op.33 No.4 was moved to Op.39 No.6.
@webernpianovor it's not, not remotely.
Fantastic! So awesome👏
check out the version by Rustem Hayroudinoff; every bit as fantastic & awesome
Well, today it is.
R 💍?
1:25 sounds like polonaise op.26-2 chopin
same exact notes
@enriquem90 this, but they're quite equal...
No, this is #6
I am mistaken ;)
デッカのピアノ録音特有の音
It's op 33 n°5.
You're mistaken ;))
chopin op10 4 is much more difficult
With Rachmaninov's Etudes-tableaux, we're not really looking for difficulty, but for powerful emotions.
In general it should be all about music, not about performance difficulties :)
