Quelle clarté de jeu, on entend absolument tout de la main gauche, respect minutieux du texte, idéal et merveilleux!

The d minor etude belongs to Op.33 No.4, but it used to belong to Op.33 No.5, untill the original Op.33 No.4 was moved to Op.39 No.6, actually.

I have the complete Russian sheet of Opus 33 and 39 if that makes you feel at ease. All the numberings of the Etudes that I uploaded are corect. I checked most publishers just in case and the these numberings are still the "corect" ones. And to the other people: How can this be mayor for Rachs sake!!!!!!!

With Rachmaninov's Etudes-tableaux, we're not really looking for difficulty, but for powerful emotions.

In general it should be all about music, not about performance difficulties :)

I performed both, they are both difficult and beautiful in their unique ways, required hours sitting on the bench and practicing ..... but, will true pianist care about which one is more difficult? Hope you can enjoy the music truly, but not the endless competing!
