Excuse me, but what kind of taro can use its leaves and stems for consumption? Because in my place eastern Indonesia the taro plant is used by pig farmers to feed their pigs
Thank for your vidio love from Indonesia 🇮🇩
thanks 🙂 keep supporting
Taro leaf we have to dry in the sun whole first ? And after that will shred into small pieces? Or first shred and dry?
Cooked it as normal curry with dry 🐟 from ... tripura
unlike bangladeshi recipe, peeling of taro stem is not important??? please tell me as m about to prepare.
Depends on how you would like to eat, but I like the hard part of the stem so I don't peel it off.
Love from assam
😊 ty and keep supporting.
How long did you dry them?
I'm the fast one in this video
yay 😊
I like them raw but not all can have it raw. Some people like me are immune to its itchiness.
It must be very tasty with dry fish
Yes it will
Its call indo-Malayan Taro, it can be eaten raw, metei people eat it raw in metei salad(singju).
Thanks a ton, I never knew that though my friend was saying it's edible as salad 👍
Botanical you are wrong
It is stem not root which you mistook e.g potato is stem not root
And not stem it is braches which you have cutten into pieces
HI THERE 👋 👋
Hello there!
Hi. I just subscribe your channel. May I know where you live? Pls don’t get me wrong. Just want to know if you’re in US or I would love to buy that kind of taro. I have heard from a friend about a certain taro that can be eaten raw so I guess this is the one
hi, I am from Nagaland a state in the northeast part of India. yes we get that taro here which can be eaten raw. but sending from here probably it will get dried up by the time it reaches the US 😊
@@NagalandFoodie thanks for the prompt response to my question. Anyway, I like your video. I have taro plants but I don’t know how to preserve it and how to cook it the right way so I decided to watch you tube and I came across your vid. Wish I could cook it right someday.
