Thanks. It didn't look like a complete guest room because the refrigerator was too huge for guests.Looks like a personal bedroom. Korina(maybe an agent) just seemed like helping the old lady and his family who has an extra room available and can give the room for short stay for some income, somewhat I have seen when I was in Goa where local agents ask for rooms and then they take you to a Bunglow or row house. But nice family and the room has an air conditioner.

As a traveller, it's important to negotiate. Hotels/Vendors usually ask for higher. As a traveller, one can't just say "YES" to everything.

Usually, that postcard will not come, there might be some problem like the postcard system is usually not efficient for Google. But the google will automatically list that place within few weeks, so just search the place which you had listed, after some time you can find it. This had happened in some cases which i know here in India.

@@mountaintrekker yes, they will not be publishing number unless they itself verify it, what you can do is to go and put more related details along with photos.
After some time (if Google is efficient in that country) the number will get call from Google member and he will ask details about the listing and that will grow in that way. Otherwise it will get publish itself.

It's a great quality & help you to grow professionally and bring more admirers. The way you explained the room rent negotiation topic is here is very subtle and carries a lot of insights. Excellent. Only issue here is why to "tag" Bengali Caribbeans here when there no "real" link ? It may be just for an interesting catch-line but some folks may find it as 'misleading'. As it's neither justifying to this Caribbean family/their tribe nor to us Bengalis. There is a thin line here but some may find it disrespectful and obviously factually incorrect.
