I have not given up on recording Clan of the Cave Bear, but will be doing both that and this book intermittently. I am busier than ever this new year, with several professional projects brewing, but am still working to keep producing these recordings. Trying to find a groove of balancing my work and my fun hobby is a challenge, but I'm working on it.
@mungo ryman LoL I like that he does that. It makes the characters unique. I'm tired of the same british accents when the world in ASOIAF is way bigger than the British Isles.
Oh wow, Tolkien's writing us not at all like I expected! For some reason, i expected it to be grim and impersonal, yet this is very playful, and very enjoyable
I love your ASOIAF readings. I've never read LOTR or TH but did like the movies. Thank you for all your hard work! P.S. Love the cat sounds in the back :)
Just started reading the Hobbit and I check my phone and see this. Reading the book with you will make it even better!!!! Thank you for all your work!!!!
Loved ASOIAF reading and never could get into the LOTR movies but now I feel like I could put the same energy with ASOIAF into the series with your reading.
I love this! I just found you about a month and a half ago and have listened to your recordings of the first three ASOIAF books. Absolutely amazing work. Regularly when I listened to your earlier recordings of ASOIAF I thought about my late father reading me The Hobbit before bed as a kid, he always did the best voices, second only to you. I was very excited to open youtube today and see you're actually starting The Hobbit! I cannot thank you enough for the hours of entertainment you have given me. I'm glad to hear you're starting on professional voice work, you're a real talent and I wish you the best in all your future works.
@@robertfeldman2417I would like to think I'm related to Podrick, he is one of my favorite characters. He hands down has the best scene in the last season with his singing, still gives me chills
This is my dad's favorite book, and he always tried to get my brother and me to read it as children. I tried a few times but never got into it (and to be completely honest, never tried it in earnest). Thanks to you, maybe this time is the charm - I love your asoiaf readings, so I know your talent in this regard! Gonna make my dad happy :)
Thank you so much for these, I remember reading the hobbit book when I was younger but now excited to hear it from your immersive voice. I've never read LOTR tho that's why I'm double excited to listen to the books with this channel (if ever you will do that no pressure)
I’m so excited! How often will you post? I’m currently on my third listen of A Game Of Thrones( just love the books and this narrator so much) I hope you stick with it! I haven’t heard or read, clan of the cave bear, but I do want to listen or at least give it a read
Moment I saw this in my recommended I had to watch. Loved the ASOIAF readings and can’t wait to see what voices you use here! Loved how Gandalf sounded pretty similar to your Jeor Mormont voice. Think it suits him well!

Gandalf sounding like the old bear👌🏾
Song gave me chills
I love the voices of the dwarves. How you try to create a different voice for every dwarf.
Now this is exciting! I love your asoiaf reading. I can't wait to hear the voices you come up with for these new characters.
Smaug with a Southern drawl? 😊
No doubt. He really knows how to immerse you into the stories.

Good to see you! I've listened to your asoiaf readthroughs multiple times now, great stuff :)
I keep telling myself and telling myself I’ll reread this but haven’t stopped procrastinating. Thank you for putting an end to that! 😂
Totally nailed “Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold” imo. Thank you again for doing this. I’ve listened to all your ASOIAF readings numerous times.
the Hobbits way of life is so idyllic it's hard not to assume it's how Tolkien imagines what a Utopia to be.

Randal bloody Tarly is Gandalf!
Thank you so much for these, I remember reading the hobbit book when I was younger but now excited to hear it from your immersive voice. I've never read LOTR tho that's why I'm double excited to listen to the books with this channel (if ever you will do that no pressure)
I JUST re-read this, and I’m regretting it terribly now that you uploaded a narrated version! I’ll listen again anyways, fanstastic work as always!

This is so good!!! You should put this in your portfolio and apply to some paid audiobook gigs, fr
I came back three times for the song, you should do a separate upload.
Ok great because I’m loving the cave bear!!!!
Thank you for doing this!

You are my favorite human.
Oh man this is a very nice surprise
Blunt the knives, bend the forks
Smash the bottles and burn the corks
Chip the glasses and crack the plates
That's what Bilbo Baggins hates!
Looking forward to this series :), do you plan on doing the LotR series?
ruclips.net/video/MnKU1MC_hUw/видео.html
Hell yes I love you.
Hey do you have a podcast where you post this cuz I love it and want to listen to it off line
Have heard Rankin and bass too many times
the song parts are the best, same for the asoiaf chapters.
Well if you're going read all my favorite books you better add the DUNE series to the list....

Riddles in the dark
