Can someone explain to me why the Mighty Diamonds are not in the music Hall of Fame? The beauty of their songs is timeless. They were so ahead of their time, and the words are so uplifting.
Because they did not get the world exposure like Bob Marley as an American that listened to reggae since the 1990 all periods from mento ska rock steady roots dance hall ECT bob Marley tunes can not compare to the foundation greats if they were pushed up front many more would have got famous in America
Love this song it’s invokes lots of good memories. Memories that I had when I attended secondary all girls school in England. Big up Reading, Berkshire.
Massive Chune. RIP Tabby Shaw & Bunny Simpson (With us Still by merit of their good works). Forward Judge Ferguson! Forward to Higher; go there. i've love these guys decades and always will. some of the best of the best; good work goes forward and sticks around forever.

Does anyone remember the early 70s up at the top of Hope road in Kingston when sitting on a porch you could hear the chuk chuk of a disco downtown wafting up the hill as the wind moved so did this sound ,always unforgetable and beautiful I was too young to go downtown at night but I remember the wind and the sounds sometimes eating some mushrooms and a lambsbread spliff I was so lucky to be a white boy who sometimes used to hang with a brother called Fredlocks around Coronation market and be accepted by some great dreads that taught me values I still hold dear to my life even today when I am almost 70. And went back and forth between Reading in Mobay up by the Post Office and the Bird lady . Jamdown is still the Pearl of the Caribe. Cha Rastafari walk good mon!!! JE
