Overall, I prefer AoS to WHFB, but one of my few gripes with it is that GW chose to carry over Mannfred rather than Vlad.

The Mortal Realms are vast, and I'm pretty sure there is a character called The Blood Dragon, who is implied to be Abhorash. So it's possible that Nagash brought back more than just the Mortarchs that have models and are known about.
Which means that Vlad might be somewhere out there, ruling a kingdom alongside his Isabella.
And Luthor Harkon is sailing the seas being a vampire pirate!
Or at least they are in our hearts and headcanons...
