For us old-school fans who remember "Catholics vs. Convicts", Notre Dame vs. Miami late in the season? Gimme that one as the biggest OOC game this year.
BYU fan here and no doubt Provo will be going crazy against ND. Season tickets sold out yesterday the quickest they ever have and that is only because of that game since they are selling “season tickets” today without the ND game
A week 10 game should be a lot more important than a week two game with so many teams being so inexperienced with Freshman and Sophomores the bulk of the lineup. Those teams that focus on experience often times over potential have a decided advantage early or should
Michigan is now baby BYU. Almost our entire awesome Michigan staff is from BYU….they either coached at BYU or they played at BYU. Most of them did both. Well done 👍🏽
@kel-lehNo need to be rude….you’re Wrong! Coach Whittingham and most of the other coaches played for BYU (he later took an Utah coaching position. Almost everyone else played or coached at BYU. Wake-up‼️
I'm old enough to remember when monster non conference regular season games were darn near playoff games. Now I'm lucky enough to watch Oregon vs JMU the Friday before Christmas. That was a terrible trade off.
Can certainly agree that having JMU and Tulane in there sucked-but from there, it was a great playoff. I like the current playoff system, I just wish they’d have some sort of way of deterring top 12 (or 16, whatever) teams without regard to conference affiliation. If it’s a committee + computer formula or something, fine. But yeah, keep the scrubs out of the playoff.
Why does it feel like between ole miss , Oklahoma and TAMU they can’t all stay the same or improve. Someone is going to be worse and I’m not sure who it is
coming from an ole miss student, it’s ole miss. i don’t want to say i’m expecting a bad season but i wouldn’t be suprised. i also wouldn’t be suprised if we made the CFP again
Cant wait for Auburn to be ranked for only beating baylor and proceed to finish the season 6-6. But then Florida will be ranked if they beat auburn cuz auburn will proceed to beat southern miss and be ranked #20 so then florida will jump into the rankings for beating the #20 team in the nation. Thats the AP voter script right there for ya
In the old days, non conference games made a lot more sense because first, to win the title, you had to get the most votes and winning with a tougher schedule was a huge plus. It continued to be a plus with the top four teams going to a playoff cause in the SEC, you pretty much got an auto bid if you won the conference and even if you lost the SEC title game, there was a good chance you would make the final four. Winning against elite teams outside your conference was a huge plus if you were runner up. Now, with conference title games often redundant and winning them an over all negative, many teams must be voted in and lighter schedules with more wins are often getting bids over tougher schedules that might include out of conference losses. I am sure Texas would love to get out of playing Ohio State and vice versa, this year
@charlesyarbrough2619this Notre Dame fan admits it. We play a lot of teams that have been really bad recently. All of these games expect BYU was scheduled 8-10 years ago. That’s what happens when you’re independent.
@NDMatador, dude seriously? Been bad recently? When has Navy, rice, boston college, Purdue, Stanford, or UNC been relevant? That's not even all of them. 8 teams on ND's schedule had 8 or more losses last year. Schedules aren't made that far in advanced. Usually 4-5 years. Because of ND's agreement with the ACC, the ACC picks 6 teams in their conference and ND picks the other 6. So look at the non ACC teams. Anyone that tries to defend that schedule is blind.
"Close your eyes for a second"
Okay.
"Unless you're driving"
Oh okay.
We're already at the end of March, only ~5 months until all is right in the world again
For us old-school fans who remember "Catholics vs. Convicts", Notre Dame vs. Miami late in the season? Gimme that one as the biggest OOC game this year.
I do, and I believe there is a 30for30 about this.
Tigers beat the Tigers in Death Valley...
🤔
‼️
Controversial take
Tiger-ception!
That's a safe bet
GT vs Tenn at Bobby Dodd Week 2 will be a wild atmosphere
W2 ASU vs.Texas A&M is a huge game for the Big XII early in the season. You missed one Pate.
BYU fan here and no doubt Provo will be going crazy against ND. Season tickets sold out yesterday the quickest they ever have and that is only because of that game since they are selling “season tickets” today without the ND game
Really could go for a college 🏈 or a ok Thursday night 🏈 game right now?
Even though I absolutely LOATHE both teams, that Oklahoma vs Michigan game is gonna be fun!
A week 10 game should be a lot more important than a week two game with so many teams being so inexperienced with Freshman and Sophomores the bulk of the lineup. Those teams that focus on experience often times over potential have a decided advantage early or should
All teams at this point are unhomongenized milk, the cream will rise to the top.
Auburn has a rough schedule. At Tennessee, at Georgia, at Alabama, at Ole Miss, vs LSU. Oof.
Every year smfh
OU Michigan aka the Jordan Bowl
Go Canes 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
🙌🧡💚
Dave Aranda should have stayed at LSU. LSU might have been pretty scary on defense if he had stayed all this time.
Ole Miss vs Louisville?
Lou ain’t got no qb
@tommyjones774who is their QB this year?
@drewsimpson97it’s not miller moss
Michigan is now baby BYU. Almost our entire awesome Michigan staff is from BYU….they either coached at BYU or they played at BYU. Most of them did both.

You mean Utah. Not byu. Moron
@kel-lehNo need to be rude….you’re Wrong!

Wake-up‼️
Cincinnati vs Texas tech, Cincy hates Sorsby

Factual
Did you not watch week one or two this year? 😂
@Bayou_BanditI sure did. Did a team lose a game in week 1 or 2 and go 11-1 and miss the playoffs bc of that single loss?
Not terrible to see 4 teams in the Semis none of which had won any of the last 20 Nattys.

Brother, we wish the voters would stop believing in us, too. We've been ranked in week 2 and collapsed 4 years in a row.
Nooooo. Why'd you pick Miami vs. Notre Dame again? You picked them in that other video as well. The supposedly "best conference games" video. lol.
Miami will wreck NDs season again! At home this time.

À la USC.
Don’t want to sound hyperbolic, but Miami vs Notre Dame could be the most important game of the year for playoff standings 👀
🙌🧡💚
ND’s schedule is total joke
ND fans won't admit it. 8 of the teams on their schedule had 8 or more losses last year.
@charlesyarbrough2619this Notre Dame fan admits it. We play a lot of teams that have been really bad recently. All of these games expect BYU was scheduled 8-10 years ago. That’s what happens when you’re independent.
There are a lot oft teams that have soft schedules, but you just want to talk about ND's schedule.
@teeroyjenkins1000, 8 teams on NDs schedule had 8 or more losses last year. That's why everyone is pointing it out. It's a complete joke
I can't wait to see the Canes go to Notre Dame and beat them in their house in Prime Time.
The problem with that is by then ND will remember that they're good. ND under freeman rarely loses after September.
You're going to have a long wait. Leave no doubt.
Not this time big dawg.
