you earned my sub lil bro, keep em coming as im still waiting on buying this game. this will help me decide which vocation to play as once i finaly buy the game.
Thank you so much for this!! Everyone else has their stuff from like 2 weeks before the game even released, "Here's what we know of SO FAR." And they just talk about a bunch of random stuff pulling clips from the trailers. This is an Amazing video! I hope you do one for all classes! Edit: Also- I subbed lol. Cant wait to see more!
You know, as much as I like DD trilogy (yes, play the DDO illegally), I always had the feeling that all weapon skills could have been core skills with a more elaborate control mapping, and although I understand that with vocations focused more on range attacks such as the mage, sorcerer, archer or illusionist have it more difficult to adapt their skills to the controls like a fighting game, but I don't see it as impossible if we apply the command system seen in KH or in FF7 Rebirth. These seem like better options to me than resigning ourself to having a limited number of actions available in real time, and I already know that would take away the management and RPG feeling of building your Arisen, p But I think we still have mechanics like equipment, items, emergent mechanics and the freedom to choose how to deal with missions that enhance the RPG feeling in the game.
I already devised a system years before Dragon's Dogma 2 was announced that gave players access to: • Horizontal attacks with SQUARE, vertical attacks with TRIANGLE, and thrusting attacks with CIRCLE. • Heavy versions of the above by holding thEIR respective attack buttons. • Alternate attack combinations of the above by attacking, waiting, then attacking again to switch to the alternate moveset. • Sprinting versions of the above. • Jumping versions of the above. • Evade/Roll recovery versions of the above. • And a maximum possible amount of *TWENTY-FOUR Weapon Skills* activated by: >R1 + Face Buttons >R1 + D-Pad Buttons >L1 + Face Buttons >L1 + D-Pad Buttons >L2 + Face Buttons >L2 + D-Pad Buttons With my system, many of the Weapon Skills are now Core Skills. Freeing up Weapon Skills to be reserved for actually unique abilities that cannot be replicated with the basic attack controls. Compass Slash can be hold SQUARE. Full Moon Slash can be hold SQUARE, hold SQUARE. Blink Strike can be sprinting CIRCLE. Airward Slash can be jumping hold TRIANGLE. Cloudward Slash can be jump, wait, hold TRIANGLE. Gouging Skewer can be jumping hold CIRCLE. Hindsight Sweep can be ROLL, SQUARE. And so on.
Warfarer is pretty useful when you can switch to all vocations with Rearmament except for Trickers which i dont find useful unless its a defense build, I had Spear, Greatsword and dagger skills with it. And levels up vocations too
Amazimg showcase! Could you make a showcase of like recommended skills and a showcase of bigger enemies? Something like if the parry is useable against bigger enemy attacks like for example the drake's fly and stomp?
Warrior has quite a few finishers but I dont know how they're triggered. Theres one where you fling them behind and another where you spin them before launching them
@@ruaghs7123 I mean the specific finisher variants. Most of the time they do the doublesmash but sometimes you pick them up and throw them either back or forward, and I wonder what triggers those variants
@@alfonshedstrom9859 depends on the enemies for the most part, if it is an enemy the warrior can easily throw they'll do that, but most of the time it is exactly that finisher anyways
I was looking for something like this for the magic users and it's hilarious that no one has done so. It's all just shitty builds. Hope you do so and get the views!
why use a shield if it isn't using the shield? God i wish animators get this right at least one time in my years of life. Just keep the shield in front of the character!!
Best skill showcase video, hope to see for each vocation
Its i tiny thing but i love how they hold thier sword when just walking around when you play this class
This is EXACTLY the video I've been looking for. Thanks for this.
Really hope to see all of the others as well.
FFS THANK YOU, I was trying to get a look at what the skills actually do and look like. Top Tier video.

It's great that they picked something from Devil May Cry into the moveset
And Monster Hunter
It's been like that since the 1st game, most notably the stinger/Burst strike comparison
DDDA has the Stinger and Air Hike + Trickster Dash.
And a "dragonpunch" from street fighter to warrior 😂
Thanks for this perfect video, hope to see more vocations too 😃
More videos are to come!
would love one for tief
I think you have much to do now 😂
As always thank you for your content ❤
This video is what I've been looking for. Show other vocations please! Thank you
Thanks man very cool

Downcrack received a really nice glow up

Hello, it would be cool if you showcase the finishers (they're called succesive attacks in game)
Warrior has quite a few finishers but I dont know how they're triggered. Theres one where you fling them behind and another where you spin them before launching them
@@alfonshedstrom9859 they're triggered when you constantly deal vital strikes with stonesmasher (you'll know when the strikes have a meatier sound)
@@ruaghs7123 I mean the specific finisher variants. Most of the time they do the doublesmash but sometimes you pick them up and throw them either back or forward, and I wonder what triggers those variants

I was looking for something like this for the magic users and it's hilarious that no one has done so. It's all just shitty builds. Hope you do so and get the views!
