The only problem I'm having with this guitar is the black fretboard colour coming off painting my fingers black, anyone knows how I can fix this? Or just a new paint job?
great review. tahnks. please answer my query? 1)what should be the action distance in mm at 12th fret for yamaha C40 ? ..2)is the saddle higher at the 6th string then at 1st string?
Thank you. As for Q1: I don't know but can tell that the action there is comfortable and in the range of the classical guitar standard, Don't worry about it. As for Q2: yes.
Thanks for reply .. i have bought my C40 yamaha one year ago. At 12 th fret action distance for 6 th string is 8-9 mm .. and 1 st string is approx 4-5 mm is that ok ? Or it has increased? I have personally felt a little bit of difficulty around 9-10-11-fret .. so was a little curious

The C70 has a different fancier Rosette decal and gold tuner mechs with pearloid knobs. Me, I'd go with a C40 and spend the saving on strings. Hold on. I did. A set of pearloid knobs can be had from AliExpress for about $6 inc shipping, $15 if you want gold mechs as well. C80 has Nato body wood vs the C40/C70's Meranti.
Hello teacher I hope that you are fine I have a question please I have a yamaha C40 4/4 and I want to buy a good strings pack for it which of the Strings It good ? Martin M260 Strings or D'Addario EJ45 Pro Arte NT Strings Note : I use my guitar for singing and for playing fingerstyle song thanks a lot
Listen to a fellow who can really play. I can hear it and the C40 older Yamahas in decent shape (used) can be had for very cheap (under $60). A guitar SOUND is what matters and the setup of the action is an easy job for a fellow who knows what to do and has basic tools. But most players cannot play and do NOT have basic setup skills or tools. Classical guitars have the strings tied on at the bridge and at the tuners... no ball ends at the bridge or long ends loose at the tuners. Learn what to do and why and it is easy to do.
It sounds mute with bass and empty with treble (to my ear). But this is the common defect of all Yamaha cheap classical guitars. Perfect for learning but nothing else.
That is such pretentious BS. Electric, acoustic or classical, seldom is any instrument the limiting factor for the majority of players. What's more common is for ego to buy far more guitar than they need or can use.
$140 dollar guitar, $100,000 Player. Thank you, loved it.
Thank you 🙏
I've had my C-40 for about 10 years now, it's my least expensive guitar but it's still my favorite one to play.
The sound is so warm and soft, so pleasing
Great to hear from you Abella.
I am going to buy one tomorrow. Thanks for the video
Enjoy

A mi me la regalo mi hermana. es mi tercera guitarra.

Was it good to play out of the box? Is the neck too wide to use your thumb to play the E string?
Yes. The Neck is a C curve one. It's subjective. This type of guitar is to be played out of the box.

Which one had good sound and comfort ? C40 or c70?
They are about the same. If you're a beginner guitarist or a beginner with playing with nylon strings guitar the c40 is the more popular.
@@sudipkonai5611 not that I known.

Go for D'addario EG45. It's great and has a reasonable price. I use them.
@@RoyZakai I will thanks a lot great teacher 😍
I recently bought daddario classic strings. But daddario pro arté is a better option, but more expensive. You can use both!
Does the Yamaha C40 has a truss rod ?
No it doesn’t

One view one comment. This is a new record on this channel. :-)
tbh, even the expensive ones doesn't always sound good.

You're right! but it's a $130 guitar. opening a sound port would help, I did!
Does it have truss road?
As far as I remember, it doesn't..
what size is this? 3/4?
Full size
c40 has too high of an action, and an usually rough fretboard i feel… anyone agrees?
