I recall watching your Drift Ute build back in the day and I'm pretty sure it was during the days of Boostcruising haha. I am really looking forward to watching this be built and documented.
After building alot of race cars over the years I found that my jig needs to be about 30 inch wide and then I made slider that will hold heavy parts to right htg and square
Nigel, thanks for your work! Could you please answer: why is there is stiffness only in one direction? Im speaking about connections between S-lasercuts and frame.
Excellent work, going to be amazing! I don’t think you should weld galv at all, tog or otherwise as the coating reacts with the heat and creates poison gas, always grind it back 👌
That s15 looks like it had farrr to little rust and damage to chop up. A rusty smashed one would of been awesome for a happy ending like this! Looks like an amazing built hope to see an sr20ve in there so this is like a ground up GT300 inspired s15 :D
Amazing engineering knowledge, been a big fan since your builds out of the small one car garage. Any chance your keen on selling the BIM Driftmasters? 😅😅😅
Cant wait to see how this progresses! I remember following the drift truck (ute) build. What is this going to be used for? Looks more like a race car build this time ❤
Just curious, when making the jig, given its the basis for all measurement, im surprised you werent using a scribe to mark your lengths, rather than a sharpie. Undoubtedly youve got your reasons, or you are happy to correct during fit up, but i thought accuracy would be paramount at this step. Cheers.
yup he likes TE37's alright, this guy doesn't just have a mere set of 37's, no, but a set of Magnesium Centerlock 37's. 😎 "F" me running, I didn't even know those existed outside of maybe the Super GT Series. you'd think you'd might see someone with those at a hardcore meet like Sevens Day...? but nope.
It’ll be loosely based on a sports sedan, a few rules will be broken as I just want to do some open track days in it. Racing isn’t really a priority for me as I enjoy the engineering and performance more than competing.
I’m trying to follow the rule book but I’m not too interested in competing with it, more just to enjoy the build and enjoy the feel of it on the occasional track day.
Nigel's work is always superb
Thank you 🙏🏻
Been following all your builds for 15+ years. I’m excited for this one!
Thanks for following 🙏🏻
Just discovered your channel, this is absolutely brilliant, I never would have thought about building a car this way and it's pure genius.
Love this. Can’t wait to see more of this build. Looks beautiful. Please try and make more videos of this progress. Your work is always amazing.
This is gonna be amazing!

I’m feeling the excitement i felt when the ute build got momentum. I’d love to pick your brain about designing a full racecar in CAD from scratch
This is great! Been building a jig myself for my S13 I recently picked up, thanks for the motivation Nigel! Keep up the great work 🤘
My pleasure and good to hear it, hope the build is going well.
Nigel posting on RUclips? Blasphemy. This makes me so happy to see an update man. Great work as always
Haha cheers, one or two uploads a year 😂
very nice work sir - subscribed
Beautiful work Nigel..I love how you're always progressing!!!
Think this is going to be the best build on RUclips. Can’t wait for the updates now
After building alot of race cars over the years I found that my jig needs to be about 30 inch wide and then I made slider that will hold heavy parts to right htg and square
Nigel, thanks for your work!

Wow how exciting I love where this build is heading already.
This looks incredible!
Unreal work as always. I can't imagine how stressful it was cutting the car in half.
Really looking forward to this one Nigel - great stuff!
Moar s15 updates pls! Build looks insane as always!
SO SICK
Wonderful looking engineering and fabrication, that will be a awesome car. Subscribed!
Really impressive, definitely following this build
Oh man, i’m excited for this one
Mag Centerlock TE37's have me hyped about this build, I'm sure it will be a work of art when Nigel is finished with it
I'm not too computer savvy so I use Cardboard Aided Design. It's amazing what you can do with a bit of laminated cardboard. 😉
been waiting the progress of this build, always loving your build !!
Thank you, it’s been a big year so far so I’m happy to kick this off finally.
just wow , good job bro , looks like a weapon
Not only will the galvanic coating bugger up your torch, it will bugger YUO up, when giving off zinc oxide.
Bloody hell your videos are just a cut above so many others. Love your work mate 🤘🏼
Super pumped for this Nigel! Definitely going to follow this one closely.
Incredible idea, vision, and work as always, Nigel!! Cannot wait to see this come together! I’ll be watching closely.
That's pretty wild, I am interested to see how this build progresses!
Cheers mate, I’ll keep you updated as it goes along.
Such an inspiration, i look forward to this build being completed.
love the MTB's as well mate!🤙
This is BEYOND exciting!!!
Epic start mate, will be watching along for sure
Thank you 🙏🏻
This is awesome - subscribed :)
Excellent work, going to be amazing!

Excited to see how things have progressed from the Hilux days 👍🏽👍🏽
Nice

This is going to be sickk
Love you’re work Nigel, so pumped for this next build.
Love this cars, can't wait to see more progress.
So Clean!
Wow
Good work man
Alright I have to say. It’s been 4 months lol. I’m gonna check the site *alright thank you Jesus, it’ll be worth the wait I know
I have just uploaded the new vid and I hope the wait is worth it :)
Super cool stuff! Keep those video’s coming! 💪🏼
Is this the same grey S15 that we saw in recent vids?
Can't wait to see this
great work man first time i come across you !! I'm very curious on the weight of 1 magnesium mags ?
Impressive as always
Impressive!!
Amazing engineering knowledge, been a big fan since your builds out of the small one car garage. Any chance your keen on selling the BIM Driftmasters? 😅😅😅
ETS video content rules! Please keep it up!
Holy shit Nigel
Love it! Keep up the good work man.
So what is the actual goal of this once intact s15 and good luck love your work
❤
Epic work. Please tell us more about the mountain bikes you have in your shop. Are you fabricating the frames?
Could you try and do center seating position like an F1 McLaren? Just curious
surgical precision 👌🏻
Cant wait to see how this progresses! I remember following the drift truck (ute) build.
What is this going to be used for? Looks more like a race car build this time ❤
What is the final intended use for this fantastic build? WTAC?
Are you building dh bikes too? I’ve been building cars, bikes for years and have been waiting for a window to build my own enduro frame
Just curious, when making the jig, given its the basis for all measurement, im surprised you werent using a scribe to mark your lengths, rather than a sharpie. Undoubtedly youve got your reasons, or you are happy to correct during fit up, but i thought accuracy would be paramount at this step. Cheers.
Jeez how big is your fixture table to be able to fit a car sized jig on it? Or youre making a fixture on your fixture table?

A spicy SR? I really hope it’s not a 2J
do you build your own mtb frames??
Building this as a sports sedan? I hope you will atleast race it in it sometimes or once it’s so perfect for it
It’ll be loosely based on a sports sedan, a few rules will be broken as I just want to do some open track days in it. Racing isn’t really a priority for me as I enjoy the engineering and performance more than competing.
It’s gonna be ford coyote powered maybe lsx
Looks great! Is this for time attack?
No it’s not but it’s loosely based on a Sports Sedan but the inspiration comes from early GT500 cars so it’s really just for fun and open track days.
Another entry for Sports Sedans? :D
I’m trying to follow the rule book but I’m not too interested in competing with it, more just to enjoy the build and enjoy the feel of it on the occasional track day.
Im guessing a vr38 and running gear?
Good luck finding one for sale.
And if you find one be ready to spend some extra $$$$$.
Sweet can I have your hilux? Please!!
Who's guessing a RB?
That’s a no from me 😊
I'm guessing VR35 & Albins ST6
VK 💯
do a v8 already
🙂 Promo'SM
This looks incredible!
Thank you
