You guys are awesomely epic !!! Thanks for creating and sharing - what a flippin ‘ dream - keep it up !!!!! Stay safe “ row ,row , row your boat , gently down the stream ! “
I am from Ghulkin, a village near Gulmit and Gulmit tower is visible from my bed room. Since childhood I had the dream to be on top of it one day. Here you go. You guys lived my dream and through you I was virtually able to experience the terrain. Thank you. You guys are amazing athletes.
I am ski touring, climbing and paragliding. Not remotely as good as they. But it helps to understand how incredible this undertaking was. Combing two things in the alps can be tricky. But all three plus camping gear, plus altitude, plus level of difficulty, plus low quality of maps and Werther forecast: mind blowing - really!
Absolutely an incredible adventure! Combining paragliding, climbing and skiing in a beautiful part of our world. One of my favorite films I have watched. Great job!
Wicked. The drone footage of the climb was an awesome complement to the footage from Will + Fabi. Brillant sound design with the subtle FX of the tools. I think there's a lot of potential for this dynamic of a filmmaker focused on documenting who can mostly accompany the climbing team without needing to do the hard climbing.
Thank you. So glad everyone made it safely. You guys are on a whole other level. My mind is blown. Absolutely brilliant and beautiful. Your approach to adventure is incredibly inspiring. You gotta keep telling your story. It is legendary and it's only just begun... BTW It's your positive attitudes and your teamwork ability that inspires me most. When we humans work together - as a true team - with each other and with nature, there's nothing we can't accomplish. Never forget.
This so impressive! I've been climbing for a few years now and also a new pilot. What a way to explore mountains. Can't wait to get deeper into both of these sports. Thank you for an awesome and inspiring video, guys! Para alpinism is a way to go 😎
Wonderful video.Thank you for sharing your adventure. I did some rock climbing in the 80s and 90s.Flu hanggliders during the 20s.Three years ago I had to have both hips replaced and haven't had too many adventures since then. Makes me feel good to know. There are people out there pushing the limits.
I'm impressed. I can't believe the elite level in multiple disciplines, all risky. Admirable. Thank you very much for sharing. It is incredible that in addition to doing something extraordinary, they take the trouble to document it with the same level of excellence.
When ever I see mountains, climbing, glaciers, paragliding etc. I forget how bad my fear of heights is. To experience even a bit of this freedom, challenge, success, adventure, I wish it would go away
Simplemente increible lo que hicieron, hermosos recuerdos de haber hecho el campo de hielo en 2002, haber dormido ahi en el circulo de los altares...increible Bravo
Jake you have definitely made an amazing film again, the adventure looks totally next level and I’m massively jealous of the journey you have taken. Keep up the amazing work. Will and Fabio made what is a very difficult assent and decent look like a walk in the park and with your videography it made for a great story of another epic adventure. Stay safe and the first beer is on me when we next catch up.
Flying with paragliding almost feels like a cheat code. But allows you to access some awesome places using your initiative. Seriously awesome work and done with safety in mind!! It would have been great to see your descent from the peak too as that looked like it could be tricky (as a novice mountaineer).
This is very inspiring Jake, thanks for making this short film. I was looking forward to the short film after the listening to the podcast on the cutting edge
Fabi Buhl: "Go? Seriously, guys, that's just way too mainstream." Will Sim: "Absolutely! Let's elevate our alpinism game and conquer new heights through the thrilling realm of Paragliding!" Jake Holland: "Agreed, guys! way better as learn viral TikTok dance. Let's fly high and leave those trends behind!"
7:44. Funny you said "flying in strong thermal conditions" just at the same time "pilot" took his had off the brake, close to the ground in those same thermal conditions, but epic fun anyways
As someone who is wealthy, genius level intelligence , PHD, traveled the world as a helicopter pilot, US Marines Special Forces, and summited both Everest and K2 (twice each),I am very difficult to impress. This almost did it for me but, alas, not quite.
did a hike and fly off El Misti, Arequipa, Peru, will always kick myself for not launching the east face around 15K' around noon when there was a cloud popping over the peak, perfect launch conditions on the east face. The film crew wanted a scene launching from the top... never let TV producers decide a flight agenda.
So happy people are enjoying our film so much. It's really fun to read through all the comments. Thanks Adidas for hosting!
😊

When a 23 min film feels like 5 mins, you know the storytelling was next level!
Couldn't have said it better ourselves!
When the paragliding is the least adventurous part of the trip, you know you have had an epic adventure!
😂 Very true.

Chamonix style! Great video, bravo les gars!
The drone shots from the climb were breathtaking!
Truly epic achievement - not just the flying and climb, but to use a drone and GoPros to film it all! This deserves to win prizes ☺
Climbed in Pakistan and fanatic Paraglider - this video is my fantasy. Well executed and fantastic
Wow! Congrats on a great adventure and film; kudos!

Astonishing, what an amazing adventure. Innovation and evolution of the sports. Bravo.

Wowww. You made it look so easy. What an incredible adventure and stunning scenery! Thanks for sharing
Disclaimer: it wasn't easy 😂
Impressive accomplishment guys. Paraclimbing is so much better than grinding up between crevasses, rockfall and avalanches.
Unreal! Thanks for taking me on the amazing adventure with you guys over my lunch break here in Switzerland. Look forward to the next one

He's getting into his pod harness at that moment
and no longer piloting his aircraft when he went hands off. Wait to get in the pod. @@jakeholland5430
Congrats of course. But there’s something sounding off to me
what is the name of the song at the end
Great to be young and full of testosterone!!!! Great job young men.

You certainly sound like a piece of work...
