For the longest, manufacturers weren’t creating vehicles like this because they didn’t think there was a market for it. But because everybody is spending so much money in the current economy, they can actually do this and make profit. But like you said, eventually, big v8s with massive superchargers from the factory will be a thing of the past. Very sad. I won’t be surprised in the next few years if the the new TRX will be a hybrid or something like that.
I’ve got something in the works. We’re going to do a smog test on a mail truck. Mail trucks aren’t required to pass emissions so I can only imagine how bad it’s going to be. And there’s hundreds of thousands of those running around the U.S.. 😂 It’ll be one of those videos calling out the government.
So really quick, the TRX does have mechanical movement headlights. They turn up to 15 degrees left or right over a certain MPH for better visibility. You can disable it in the infotainment system.
What I love about real trucks is they are overbuilt compared to cars, and cars aren't built tough enough. So if you want to spend your money on something that lasts, a full size truck is a great choice. I've had a Ford and a Ram and because they are built to actually work, they won't fall apart like a car does. Or lose value as fast either. It's ok to spend a lot on a truck because you can easily get 10-12 years out of it and it'll still be worth something after all that.
THE HEADLIGHTS DO TURN WITH THE WHEELS. This one has the Bed Utility package. Did you find the bed step? They do not all come with bed liners. Bragging about the size of your Hands? 5.0 in a RAM? Shouldn't you say 5.7 Hemi?
They lights did not turn with this model (you could tell during the startup when they calibrate). It's probably a feature that are on some. My hands are big.. I said that for comparison to the frame .. And no, I meant 5.0.. not 5.7. I'm talking about displacement, not engine options. If you supercharged the 5.7 it would still generate great amounts of torque.
@@reviewedbytim dude, when you mention your hands even once you instantly become a part of the douche bag family. Very typical of your type. Find me if you have a problem.
TRD 4runner would have to be my pick. 1) TRD > TRX ( Fuel consumption) TRX is 9mpg combined. 2) TRD can handle off road better. Suspension SOAKS up bumps! I'm sure you could jump a TRD lol. I've taken both on the same test trail near my home and 4runner takes the win. 3) Better driving feel in the 4Runner. Huge windows. 4) You can barely fit a stock TRX in a 6'10 parking deck. The antenna hits the yellow warning pillar that hangs from the ceiling. 5) 4runner has a great community. You already know. But, 707hp is irreplaceable. lol The TRX moves! You can also seriously deck-out a 4runner! Thanks for watching bro! Congrats on your TRD!
Massive parts and materials that justify the size difference with the Ford Raptor lighter weight. TRX is better for adding horsepower compared to Raptors because the transmission is rated up to over 1200HP but not the Raptors because smaller transmission gears.
Right lol I'm all over the place with it. The true name of the truck is TRX... Ram put a T-rex under the hood that's eating a Raptor so they're insinuating that it's the Dinosaur too..
Honestly though.. They're pretty neck and neck... Where you see the real difference is when you start to modify them. Don't get me wrong, I'm a massive ford fan! The coyote is probably the most tunable v8 we have to date! Thanks for watching bro!
The flex is insane
Blew my mind! It's no joke! Thanks for watching!
These are so cool. It’s sad that regulations are forcing manufacturers away from crazy builds like these. We should all enjoy them while we can…
@@donovanchilton5817 such a shame. Keep up the good work!

@@donovanchilton5817No they are not dead. Ford could have made a 3.5 twin turbo v8.
I traded in a 6.2 V8 truck for a 3.0 Diesel. Could not be happier.

You're right... This one just must have had it disabled. Thanks for looking out Adam!
For posterity: 15º inward, 8º outward @ speeds > 8MPH.
Amazing video I love how gentle you are with that massive truck you can tell your a car guy.. positive vibes
I appreciate that ZXCherry! Have a great weekend!
Hood and fender led's are dot requirement due to width, hood doesn't vent.level 2 headlights are active.

I couldn't have said it better myself! You're right on that! Trucks are always built with a true purpose. Unless it's a Honda Ridgeline lol
Nice review, make me fall in love with this truck
It's the baddest truck that I've driven so far! Thanks for watching Derek!
I have a 22 level 2 orange package and yes The front head lights do move to the turn of the vehicle
You're right... They were disabled on this one. Congrats on owning one! Nice color choice too!
Your review is awesome thanks.
Thanks for the kind words bro! I can't wait to upload more! Great stuff on the way! Cheers!
that was good bro..u knew how to handle her .....she did well....wow..just a touch of her throttle and shes gone
Thanks for the compliments Ian! This was hands down one of my favorite vehicles that I've ever driven! Thanks for watching!

Don't freaking lie..You can't fucking jump the TRD 😂😂😂 you can't even compare any TRD to a Raptor or TRX GTFOH

You're 100% right. I think the TRX will be able to take more abuse and has a higher potential.
How on earth is a tundra better than this? It must have been a financial decision like the guy was downsizing.
It's going to last longer... But I agree with you LMAO.
@@reviewedbytim why is the tundra going to last longer than the ram ?
Tundra sucks!
He probably is a salesman for the Toyota dealership that has this truck
Hey Bruuh do you offer lesson for 4x4?
Maybe I should....

I want to say thank you but I don't know what this means 😂
