Man - I love this chart - I know it will be in my box before much longer... I too tend to change directions when I stitch - I like to run out my threads but have realized that in order to keep it within 'reach' I cut it shorter! That has helped a lot! I watched another of your videos a few months ago for your starts and have been doing it that same way since! thanks much for that!
I love that you have those c clamps and the frame attached to your desk. I just got an embroidery set up from amazon that allows me to clamp my frames to a small table that sits in my lap. Very resourceful you are!!!!! 😃 I spent so much money on wooden lap frames and keep going back to the "rigups" lolol
I have just ordered one of the floss holding boxes from Ukraine. Definitely one of those things you didn’t know you absolutely couldn’t live without until you saw it. I. Have the issue with 30 WIPS all with their own thread packs so must have spent hundreds of £ on floss.
I discovered mosaic crochet about 4 yrs ago and haven't looked back. I have two large projects started and several patterns waiting in the wings. I need to work on them. One of my wipgo prompts is yarn and it was called months ago. Haven't gotten them out to even see what needs to be done. Still love it, just haven't been able to give it the attention it deserves.
I like those thread organizers. I have been using the ones that Masterstitcher did. I did the complete DMC color palate. That means that I don't have to kit up every project. I have them all in a box next to me and just pull what I need.
I have tried doing the line by line with parking three times. I love the results but can't cope with the parked threads. Organizing is always a good thing to do when you can't stitch.
Hi Karen. I always enjoy your videos no matter how long they are 😊I’m feeling the same about MarkUp these days. I’m at the point where I’m nervous using it because if I press one wrong button, the program freaks out on me. That’s never happened with good old Pattern Keeper
Thank you for making this video. It was very enjoyable to watch. I do have a question for you. What did you use to mark your grid? It’s such a nice skinny line.
I don’t trust that the charts will still be on my device because sometimes I won’t stitch for a decade. One erasable colored pencil to mark finished and a bright yellow highlighter to mark parked are the easiest for paper charts. I keep all my threads in the original wrap and just wrap the cut thread around it. I keep the threads in stacking plastic boxes and the project threads on a project I’ve abandoned.
I’m sorry about your thumb. Have you tried kinetic tape? That’s what I’ve been using on my left hand that had carpal tunnel surgery on and is still swollen and painful
Hi Karen! I hope your hand feels better as the days and weeks go on. When you record on your phone, do you find that it takes up a lot of space? Or do you delete them from your phone? Thank you! Enjoy Labor Day, and have a great week 🌷
Cynthia I don't actually record onto my phone. I just use it as a camera. I use prism live on my computer then in my scene I add my I phone as the camera I am connecting via an app IV cam my video is recorded onto my computer then ican edit, etc and upload from there. If you.
