This song reminds me so much and warns about the corruption that we follow without realizing it. I've even sacrificed watching Disney because it does not please the Lord. Nope, not even the old shows like 'Bambi'. Walt Disney was not even a Christian, he was a 33degree Mason, which is a devil worshipper, look it up. One proof is all the 'magic' he puts into it that people take so lightly. Since then, I've been skeptical about watching anything now. I felt a little depressed because I wanted to be a cartoon animator so badly, and Disney WAS an inspiration, but I had to give it up, like one gives up on drugs. It's hard. As long as the main focus is on Jesus and not praising or idolizing humans or "things" then God does not "discriminate" against music styles. If it takes Christian Hip-Hop music to reach out the Gangsters....then that's what we need. Old hymns are not going to pull modern society into a church. But like the song says...we need to be asking questions. The best way to get an answer is to ask "If Jesus were watching this movie with me would he approve?" or "If Jesus was listening to Lil' Wayne with me, would he approve?" An action war movie that involves conflict and death is a cause/effect outcome, but if you're watching a horror movie then you're putting yourself in a position to glorify evil/death and everything that usually 9/10 shows up in a horror movie which is nudity. Jesus did not die for our entertainment. We were given free will to choose. It's up to us to choose right over wrong to leave us with a clear conscience. If we are filling our heads with sinful images and thoughts then are minds start to become contaminated and over time it may cause us to have a harder time with differentiating good from bad or lead us to be more careless.
