My biggest struggle is that I tend to think too much about how advanced technology works😂 I always forget that I can just make up magic and call it tech and voila!
This was an awesome series, thanks, Matt! Took plenty of notes on what you covered in this video & recently I made a Dalle2 CyberPunk-inspired art piece. I'll share it & tag you, cheers! 🙏🏼
I'm currently writing a dystopian with some cyberpunk elements, so i created a godless society because a group of people wanted to play God in i way or another. Had to play around with alternate history to make things make more sense
@@uaantonidiusss.7587 Games have stories, yes, but the primary audience of the channel is budding novelists, not gamers, so novels and movies are more relevant (and accessible) to the general audience.
@@MadBlue2112 I feel ya on that, but honestly, Cyberpunk 2077 has an amazing story that you could convey without even mentioning that it's a video game.
I think 2077's main story is an example of the transcendence plot mentioned, with how the Relic copies an individual's personality into an engram to be implanted into another body.

Why don't you have included Cyberpunk 2077 as an example of cyberpunk?
Probably because he's giving advice on writing stories, so the examples he gave were novels and movies.
@@MadBlue2112 game is also a story. Interactive movie
