what about using an angle grinder with a cutting blade, or a porta-band and cutting anything 3-4-5mm thick down to a meter long to sell as insize to make over twice what you'd get for selling it long as just pressing?
....from someone who likes to cut metal, lol....

I love to watch you actually throwing off the metal out of your trailor at the junkyard. Every scrap you throw off is a piece that can be reused. I appreciate it not going into the tip/dump. You are amazing and a credit to human kind. :)

Recently found your channel and have become obsessed. Good to see it isn't just Americans that throw way instead of donate. Stupid question but what is "dirty ali"? What makes it "dirty"? Thank you kindly, Mr. Prophet :)
Dirty Ali is aluminium that still has plastic or steel attached. It all needs to be removed to be clean extruded/cast/domestic aluminium 🙂

How much does your storage unit cost a month? Is it worth it to store your non ferrous?
It’s a ripoff though for my situation it works but for someone just doing scrap it wouldn’t. I pay almost $200 a week for storage.

Ten to twelve thousand dollars a month is a good amount but the work is very tiring... Take care of yourself and don't carry anything more than you can afford I wish you luck

Hi don’t you think about donating the good bikes you get there a lot of kinds that don’t have one come on
I got knocked back from donating with a few bikes before because the chain was rusty or the tires weren’t pumped up. I’m weary of taking them just to get turned away. The good bikes usually get sold or given to the kids in my neighbourhood 👍

Since I discovered this channel I've not missed watching a single video and have even started watching the older ones as time permits. What's fascinating is many things, but especially Poly's stream of consciousness narration, which is always interesting. It's also nice to see how much doesn't go to the landfill too.

@@PolyProphet 6 hours to the cost of Calais , France and the with the ship to Dover, GB. And the 2 hours to London. But i dont like to drive with the Bus. 47 pupils, 3 teachers and 1 Bus driver. Its often so loud and smells Not fine. But the City is awesome

What do you do with all the parts you take out of washer, dryer and computers?

They pay more for motors on their own. $1.15 per kilo was the last price I got. They weigh roughly 5-8kg. Otherwise the whole washer is 15c per kg for pressing steel.

There’s multiple reasons why I might leave something behind. Main one I’d say is previous experience. I know for sure some things aren’t worth the time and effort. Everybody’s different though my bro 👍
