    Hi! Wondering if instant coffee could replace coffee beans? Would that make a difference ?

      Hi there, for the filling there shouldn’t be too much difference except the taste won’t be as strong. I wouldn’t recommend sprinkling instant coffee on top of the macarons as garnish though since the instant coffee granules won’t survive the oven!

      It’s been a while since I made this video! If I remember right, that is just a generic baking sheet by Masterclass from amazon. Hope that helps!

    Can you share with me what coffee is strong enough to make coffee macarons more coffee flavor as my husband likes coffee 😀

      Thanks! I am no coffee expert but the darker the roast the stronger flavour so try using a darker roast. Hope this helps!

    what can i replace the double cream with?

      Double cream in the UK have a pretty high fat content at 48% so try something with similar fat content. I have also used cream substitutes with less fat at around 35% which also worked for a filling which isn't quite as smooth.

      how about using whipping cream? the whipping cream i found content around 40% fat

      Jason Ong Jia Sheng that should work! Make sure you stir the chocolate gently and not to bring the cream to a complete boil, otherwise the ganache will split. Good luck!

      Syed Hussain Should be enough for 2 batches of 30 shells!

    can i use milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate?

      Of course! The only reason I chose dark chocolate is because macaron shells are already quite sweet but there is nothing stopping you from using milk chocolate!

    When you say icing sugar are you talking about confectioners sugar?

      Yep! We call it icing sugar here in the UK but it is more commonly known as powdered or confectioners sugar everywhere else.
