Conquest is the most BALANCED game mode because Hirez insists on balancing around it. It's by far the worst experience because it's 15 minutes of hiding under tower in a hard-locked formula, during which time the game can easily be thrown to a snowball, and then hopefully getting to play the game.
i have 350+ hours in smite and have only ever played 1 conquest match and that was completely by accident, casual conquest is aids and ranked conquest is so toxic is could kill ebola

I wish they’d add a PvE mode again . Like a 4 player dungeon crawler similar to Diablo or Gauntlet , but with the same smite format . Would be really good .

I almost always go with Book of Thoth first because once you get to about lv 5 you can clear pretty easily with her. If you get to about 40 stacks let's say you can deal 450dmg with crush at lv 9-10. Then Boots of Focus-> Polynomicon-> Rod of Tahuti-> Ob Shard-> Chrono's Penant. I think Poly is the best item you could ever get on scylla. It raises the damage you can do in a single combo by A LOT if you throw in a basic attack inbetween your 1 and 2. And that's really easy bcs you can do auto-attack canceling. Poly proc late game does 550 by itself.. which is kinda dumb.. you can do like 2.2k with 2 skills and a basic attack. Hope it helps :D
I played Conquest (and 1v1) to get that Psycho Mantis AMC skin once. And then refused to ever play those modes ever again, preferring to have any semblance of a soul left in my when the Reaper comes. If HiRez balanced around Arena, or at least Joust, SMITE would actually be a great game.
