@Morbus I'd say c2 ayaka since she does 40% more damage with her ult total while shenhe c2 only give 15% crit damage for cyro although shenhes ults duration increases which is pretty big, but if you're looking for straight up damage ayaka

While c1 shenhe gives an extra E so you can press and hold E to get both set of buffs while shenhe c2 gives more uptime for burst as well as extra shred. But c2 for Ayaka gives the 2 extra burst blades which are smaller but deal 20% of the main blade damage. So if you already have shenhe or have her at c1. Go for Ayaka and it’ll make your clears a lot smoother and you’ll have the current best cryo unit who emphasizes off of shenhe buffs to the max!.

Tbh I really don't think that Shenhe is necessary for Ayaka to be functional but she definitely improves Ayaka's damage by a lot. She's basically a niche support for Cryo characters. She can increase your damage base on her attack if you deal cryo damage, she'll give you cryo damage bonus, decreases enemy cryo resistance, increases elemental skill and burst damage, and she can also increase attack, plunge, and charge attack damage. She's the best support for Ayaka since she can buff Ayaka's entire kit.
