    I agree your main point about the lead ; however I think the robot with 6-5 in the Minors should have continued with 3D. That might go only 3 - maybe only 2 - down. The extreme shape can be bid out when you have not defined your long-suit distribution to within 1 card - here Opener has not shown more than 5-4 , hence he should probably continue with 3D with 6 of them and a suit with 2 of the top 3 honours , IMHO

      Hi William. You make a great point. The general philosphy, when the hand is a misfit and it is clear that there are not enough values for game, is to pass and hope that partner goes as few down as possible. Have a great week 😊 Keith
