How Would a Ravenfield Bot Do in the Olympics?

- I had the Ravenfield Bot perform all sorts of athletic feats in order to see how he would compare to Olympic athletes! Shockingly, he does wayyyy better than I expected. Anyways, this video ended being a bigger project than I was expecting, so I'm glad to have it done! This was also a super experimental idea so let me know what you think!
You failed to mention he's literally wearing combat apparel, vest and everything
I actually thought about considering it, but I didn't want to over complicate things lol
Who knew the jelly men were such good Olympic swimmers!
It's a safe bet to say that they're either not going to qualify or beat a record
@@zed12-ui4jythe math states otherwise
This is pretty preposterous, I love it lmao
The dedication to these videos are great. A great balance between quality and quantity. Keep it up, but don't try to get burnt out!
Thanks! Yeah I bit off more than I could chew for this idea, especially for posting weekly lol. Probably stick to something simpler for the next one!
The perfect soldier.
Tbh your map making skills is good.
Haha thanks
underrated
Good shit man
why are ravenfield bots so blind af like their is an enemy infront of them but they cant even see it
And yet their aim is pretty accurate.
Their helmets cover their eyes
Looks like the ravenfield Olympics was great
Air resistance would effect the smoke grenade
That's a great point, which arguably could take away the bot's gold for discus. I figured since the bot's throwing ability was already so variable, it was easier to leave it out
@@nolberggg well think of it this way, what if the olympic athletes didn’t have to deal with air resistance.
@@2ez4u2 At the end of the day, the throwing section already relies on wild assumptions, like equating the distance of a smoke grenade thrown like a baseball to a discus throw. I already cant control throwing form, object shape, or mass. Adding air resistance would only complicate this flawed concept further. The assumption that air resistance exists in Ravenfield is acceptable for the video's goals, or at least to me
Great video, but why not take into account real life counterpart of smoke grenade for mass? I know that it provably wouldn't change results that much, but still.
And as mentioned by other commentator - air resistance probably also hinderes his results in throwing.
I remember looking up info on m18 smoke grenades and seeing 1.25 lbs, but of course now that I look it up it says roughly 1.18 lbs lol. Maybe I just felt like rounding it? Not really sure haha. As for air resistance, I had chosen to assume it exists in Ravenfield, for the sake of simplicity. I explain it a little better in the other comment, but at the end of the day the video is just for fun hypotheticals!
This is some peak contents😅
Glad you enjoyed!
epic
they cant do shart in the lisining department lol
If not following battle orders was a competition, they'd sweep the podium
@@nolberggg lol yeah
But could the bots beat team USA in basketball ??
Likely not, as they lack the size and speed necessary to compete against team USA. The bots' greatest weakness would be defense, as they essentially function like a team of five guards without the versatility and physical presence needed to guard against taller and more athletic players. Although bots might be capable of perfect accuracy in controlled environments, their performance typically goes down in live scenarios, as seen in-game. This would likely affect their basketball shooting accuracy as well, though its impossible to tell by how much. Even with the assumption of elite shooting, every player on team USA is simply faster and more agile, which would neutralize the bots shooting advantage with full court press and man-to-man marking. Ravenfield AI isn't particularly great either, so non physical traits such as communication, teamwork, and decision-making would be much weaker than that of an nba player. I'd imagine that bots would struggle with simply inbounding the ball, even if they do have a great jumper.
@@nolbergggyapper😊
Yeah this one shoulda stayed in the notes app🤐
@@nolberggg i know
@@nolberggg Brodie in Christ, we are literally talking about overtrained worriors here, Im sure they usually go easy on the action when in war, to try and save stamina
None of these are real sports
What game is this and why is it not Tf2
this is the sign of schizophrenia kicking in 😭
@@crininel is that a ravenfield mod?
