Pilates and yoga style workouts definitely helped me tighten up my stomach and core up after pregnancy 👍, but I’ve also found running to help your core just as much if you adapt more of a minimalist running style. Wearing a more minimal sneaker and changing my strike to land more mid/fore foot forced me to keep my core tight all through my run and really helped my core feel more like it used to before pregnancy. Thought I’d share in case this helps anyone else!

An adorable haul !!!! Precious choices for precious kids! Really cute baskets!! For some reason our kids never liked binkies, they wouldn't even take them at newborn stage......go figure? lol.
I saw a physical therapist that specialized in diastasis recti. She helped me really connect to my core and bring the abdominal muscles back together with gentle exercises. I also followed The Bloom Method which was another incredible resource for helping to heal my diastasis. Make sure you're not coning or doming while doing Pilates. A lot of Pilates moves can create intra-abdominal pressure if your muscles aren't yet strong enough to control the pressure and make your diastasis worse and your healing journey longer. I still have a bit of a separation between my abs, but I am now at a functional level where I can perform the exercises with control. Just take it slow and watch your abs for feedback. It takes time, but you'll get there!
Sarah Therese has a series of workout videos that helped her abs come back together after having three kids (she’s now pregnant with her fourth). These workouts were instructed to her from I believe her midwife. They look gentle but effective.
Check out Anna saccone postpartum workouts on RUclips! After having my twins I had a bad separation and followed those for a few months and they were amazing! Nothing straining on your stomach muscles and they are from a professional specifically for diastasis recti!
He should look up @Tone and Tighten. He helped heal his wife's Diastasis Recti. He has really videos posted on youtube. I've been working on mine. I have been slacking a little but working on it.
You should totally check out Hannah Bower on Instagram! She talks about this and shows workouts for it. She even has a core guide you can purchase, I haven’t but I know I’ll use it one day when I have babies!
Oh my gosh! The pacifiers for both kids became a huge pain in my butt. I also read that and decided to do the pacifier fairy and they both did great at 2.5 and 6 months. (I had to do both at the same time so the older wouldn’t take the babies) the best choice ever!
