Congratulations to your players on their progress. I am curious about what changes you envision for Jurij, and what "switch" needs to change in his head. Perhaps that is too private. I like hearing how much you believe in the players and your commitment to their process.
Thank you, of course I can´t go to much into details about Jurij. For obvious reasons he needs first of all gain trust again to win tough matches. And he needs more quality weeks of practice to strengthen this trust.Understandably, I don't want to talk about further details here. Switching to hard court could also be helpful
Hi, Does each of your players have development plan? Do they know what and why they do on the practice court? From what age such plan (if needed at all) should be prepared for the player? How is the progress evaluated (besides the wins in the tournaments)? Thanks in advance.
Hi, in tennis the players have certain aspects where they focus on, once they feel secure there, they go to the next stage. the fitness coach is monitoring during the tournament season and checking from time to time on their level. the progess is evaluated by mastering the challenges we work on and how soon we are able to step up to the next level. for us this is not happening in writing a plan, it is a natural process.
@@BetweenTheFencesTennisEditionok, it is not a big difference whether the plan is in written form or discussed orally. To understand you correctly, does it mean that the player knows what he has to do in order to achieve certain goal?
Exactly, our main challenge is actually to find the right priorities since there are still many things we would like our players to improve. So, step by step and not to many new aspects at once
Great video, thanks for sharing. Was in Umag with the family. Great place to watch some great tennis up close.
