I wished (i'm sure along with others who are hard of hearing) would *love* have this in subtitle in English like his other video on Laminin for I know I would enjoy all his preaching immensely ;-)
Parables take natural subjects and experiences to make points in the spiritual so we "get it". Jesus used parables a lot. Pastor Louis, used the "parable of the Krispy Kreme" to illustrate that you can have all knowledge on Bible facts and figures, you can know your doctrine, go to church, do all the "right stuff", but until you have a face to face encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ, you have missed it all. There is no fluff in that fact.
I miss Krispy Kreme. We used to have one in my town and they were crazy busy all the time but then they closed. Maybe the firm folded or got bought out. :(
Okay, here's my take on this video: One: hilarious Two: I'm craving a Krispy Kreme doughnut right now, & I realize that I haven't had one in ages. Three: After watching that, & then seeing him take a bite out of it, I died a little inside from jealousy. LOL. Four: I've NEVER heard the analogy of Christ being compared to a donut. That's awesome :D
Exactly. It doesn't do any good to know everything there is to know about Krispy Kreme donuts but never tasted one. In the same way, it doesn't do any good to know all there is to know about the Bible and Jesus Christ if you've never "tasted" of Him. Psalm 34:8 "Taste as see that the Lord is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in Him."
@mjhallfs you obviously don't know Louie, or a thing about Passion. At the Passion conferences, over twenty thousand people get together to learn more about Christ, and how to share the gospel with the world around them, and carry the name of Jesus to the ends of the earth. The Great Commission in action. There is nothing but reverence for our Lord at Passion City Church as well, and sometimes the music rocks, but it's all about Jesus. Every word, every song. Jesus told us to live abundant life!
It is my belief that I the old testament and God was feeding the children of Israel in the desert manna from heaven he was feeding them Krispy Kreme donuts.
*Glory be to God for this amazing Word!!!!!* 🍩 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽 🍩
