    Hi, I have a question: On the timeline of your video 55:00, where you are using stream analytics to store data in SQL DB from IOT HUB. How do send your data? Was it from the Node-red program or using C#? Can you send it from NodeRed? I tried to get data into the IoT hub as used as INPU Stream, but the cloud did not get any transferred to SQL DB. I used the same query syntax you had?

    In Node-Red you have two "Prepare Azure Message" functions, so it sends two messages at a time? How can I make these two values in one single json format?

    very well explained. Thankyou this is very useful. Can you please explain what is the procedure to be followed if we have 1000 devices that are required to send data to IoT hub. Should we register each one of them as a separate IoT device?

    • @industry40tvonline
      @industry40tvonline  2 года назад

      Thank you for the feedback, Harsha. You could use Azure IoT Hub Device Provisioning Service to automate the process. Here's the link for more details: docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/iot-dps/

    Question: Can I send data from a Standa Alone C# application running on a normal PC, to Azure IoT Hub?

    • @industry40tvonline
      @industry40tvonline  2 года назад

      Thanks for the question, Edgar. Yes, you can. The only reason why you'd need an industrial device or something like a Raspberry Pi is to access sensors via its Input/Outputs. Otherwise, you can generate the data within your C# application and publish it to Azure.

    Is there any way to avoid stream analyrics. It's too expensive

    • @industry40tvonline
      @industry40tvonline  3 года назад +2

      Thanks for watching. It all depends on your application, but serverless functions also work well for real-time data processing.

      I started with stream analytics on my project but switched to azure func like Idustry40 recommended. Its alot cheaper to run. Just have a func that pushes events to storage
