I am trying to create a safety project with an EL2911. Instead of the EL6910 and EL1904, the EL2911 is to act as the target system and as an alias device for input. I followed the tutorial and configured the EL2911 as the target system (as in the video) and received the following error message: Severity Code Description Project File Line Suppression State Error For the selected Target System is required a corresponding Alias Device with linking mode 'Local'. myFirstSafetyProject C:... I was able to fix the error message by creating an alias device EL2911 with Linking Mode Local. When trying to perform the Multi Download I get the error: Login failed on terminal 2 (El2911). The login data is correct. I have checked them several times. Can anyone help me?
Hello! Good information, Another sopport I can't find, Do you know how to copy a total of *.sal? If I have a zone with ("Alias Devices" and a *.sal) and for an example it's Zone A and I want to copy it to Zone B and it's the same code but a different Zone. Regards Lars
Hi! From the TwinSAFE project icon, you could right click open the file folder view and do a copy/paste there. However, I'd consider user function blocks instead.
I followed your steps exactly, but when i want to link the alias devices to the tasks, it is greyed out and it states "not available". Im using a el6910 aswell and i am trying to communicate to a custom slave over a ek1110 with FSoE. Any ideas?
I did define the targer. But i had two issues: The Dip-Swotches on the EL6910 were configured to address 0 and the custom slaves ESI File was not imported
Thanks!
You’re welcome!

I'm not sure exactly what you're seeing, but it sounds like you're trying to connect the Alias devices before the target is defined.
