When I'm playing parts in the guitar that is hard for me, I almost always stop my breath lol... Makes it hard to sing along with the playing. Now I see how important it is to be relaxed even when playing hard parts lol
4:53 ...this is probably the most beautiful sentence I have ever heard in an tutorial/instructional video of any kind!! Thank you very much for these videos Brandon!
this is the real art,,,,,,you can feel the heart,,,, and the feelings,,,, and the magical sound of the guitar ....the musicality,,, the musician,,, everything is perfect.... and i think,,,, im inlove again for the second time.. tremolo is my life.... thanks Sir Brandon Acker ,,,, i realy admire you....
I have to tell you that I am totally "Blown Away" ... you have given such superb instruction. I've never seen anyone else teach and explain the way you do. I've watched so many other guitarists on RUclips try and explain Tremelo and there's just nobody does it like you do. Amazingly simple, detailed ways...not only do you play beautifully but are so gifted at relaying the way to do. Thank you so kindly. I appreciate you tremendously!!!!
This is the gold standard for tremolo tutorial online, I always come back to parts 1 and 2 to measure my progress. Here is a student tip: I began tremolo with nails, but as my nails would grow, and one breaks, and I try to even out the rest, and another breaks (when it is just right), and so on, I could never get a consistent, even tremolo effect. Then, one time when a nail broke, and I trimmed all the others to match, I happened to watch the no nails video, which gave me permission to play classical with no nails. And guess what? The sound is even, consistent, day after day. Now I trim (always file, never clip) my nails down to keep that plucky flesh tone, and I have full control. When I use a metronome it is more to slow myself down, than to aim for speed. Been playing no nails for months now. Never going back. 👍
For the love of music, Brandon is truly incredible. Thank you for everything, you inspire me to be a kinder, calm, more respectful human being. But most of all you introduced me to the classical guitar. Long road ahead but I'm loving the views so far! Thank you Brandon!
My teacher always taugh me by telling me to listen the sound and find my own music, that ended up I became so musical with no support of the foundation of techniques. Your video just made the right place for me to realized what I lacked and showed me the way of fixing it. Thank you for these great lessons and music. Have a nice day.
Your Way of teaching is the best I have seen in classical music, thank you so much, I’m 67 years old, and I’m trying to learn just the basic of classical guitar
Is it weird to say that your intro was probably the most calm and peaceful intro I have seen in years? You must meditate so much you float off the grown.
Such a great lesson! The wrist height adjustment to bring focus to either the melody or accompaniment part is definitely a new nuance for me. Thank you!
Brandon, to me when I first started working on my tremolo, I had a tremendous problem getting the sound that I wanted due to my nails. I think getting the perfect size for your picking nails plays a dramatic role on adjusting your tremolo technique and sound. I would love your feedback onto that.
Cheers Brandon. I've been playing classical guitar for 25 years and always struggled with getting the balancing right. Your one tip of lowering the wrist has made enough of a difference that I'm confident it's only a short period of practising away from being "right"
Thank you so much for doing this series. You are doing more for the art of classical guitar than you probably realize. I taught myself how to play classical guitar from youtube videos and without a teacher, I had little guidance. I remember performing a tremolo piece for a competition in high school, and the judges made comments that my tremolo needed work in essentially all the areas you addressed here. I had no idea what they were talking about, or how to improve my sound. You are providing for people insight into the nuances that will make them better musicians and, ultimately, classical guitarists. I remember stumbling across your Verano Porteno video when I was learning it two years ago, and I was in awe of your musicality, and a little sad at how few views it had. I am very happy to see your channel growing, and that you are providing insight into your exquisite technique for generations to come, for free.
What l really appreciate about this guy is he has a really humble easy going supportive approach which makes me feel l can do this even though I'm a senior citizen with arthritis. You can tell he really wants to teach you without intimidating you.
I started playing guitar last yr.. when i was 54.. bought an Epiphone Acoustic.. looked at classical guitar but was intimidated . I tell you, Brandon really breaks it down and his lessons really give you the confidence . TY!!!
You are amazing sir .I mean literally i never saw someone teaching like this . I m a self taught guitarist .I only learn from YT and learned a lot from all types of teachers on Yt and they all were so good and knowledgeable But seriously no one was even close to you YOU ARE THE BEST ! Good Luck to you sir .May God fulfill all your wishes .Keep working keep going Thankyou so much for this video ❤️ Love you ❣️🎸

"this man must be one of the best teachers ever; the gentle strength and eloquence in his playing and speaking put you totally at ease, makes a person want to be interested! What a wonderful person." (TheAlgernom )
Thank you.. and it is very calming when u explain it slowly with the tremolo bgm.. also in the end you try to show us the way how to find the truth inside ourselves.. :) . It is almost like listening to a preacher in the church when ur life is upsidedown. Thank you so much. Love from Indonesia
That ending of Recuerdos is the focus point of many guitarrists that have reached that level and have the intelligence to pay attention to one of the most important parts of the song.
I'd strongly recommend this instruction since he is the first youtube teacher I've seen to add music interpretation to tremolo technique. (And it's so funny that he is able to demonstrate a galloping amateur-like tremolo intentionally.)
Hit a wall with my guitar playing. Decided to learn classical guitar, and you have been a massive help. Thanks so much, excited for the progress I have already been seeing and that is still to come!
Thank you for the lesson, you have beautiful skills and I aspire to be even half as good as you one day!! If you ever come to Australia I would pay good money for an individual lesson, you are truly a master of your instrument;
This is like tremolo 505. Never been so deep in tremolo. It open the understanding on what's happening when your fingers move over the strings. You are one pedagogue of a kind... Thank you so much and take care.
Absolutely brilliant masterclass of how to play a tremolo. Your videos have inspired me to pick up my classical guitar and to implement your technique for what is surely one of the greatest sounds produced on the guitar. I really hope you will provide us with more techniques to make our music more enjoyable. Thank-you.
I really enjoy the solemnity of your video. So peaceful, nearly tranquilizing in a way. Yet at the same time I can switch back to actually paying attention and remembering what you're saying, maybe taking notes. Very good balance right there.
BEST LESSONS ON TREMOLO ON THE INTERNET! From beginner to advance, this cleared out most of my difficulties and queries on how to play the perfect tremolo. Although one more thing you could've added is how to sit and hold your guitar for having a comfortable and ideal position for playing a Classical Guitar. LOVED IT! Subscribed for more!
Thanks. Now I know why my attempts at tremolo sound lop sided and will try swinging the rhythm like you suggest. I didn't know tremolo could also be played on the middle strings, but I won't try that just yet...I'd be happy to just play it bearably well on the high E string. Good teaching style.
You’re so TALENTED & as well modestly peaceful a musician. Making people feel very comfortable & pretty relaxed when listening to what you teach. No wonder people like you & respect your videos.👍
#2 is spot on, I'd even suggest just learning tremolo starting on the inside strings as they highlight the overextension early on, before muscle memory has time to set in which then forces you to relearn your finger movement patterns and unlearn your previous patterns. You can then just use this technique for the high E string anyway
Wow. Just, wow. Impressive skills AND impressive teaching... The right communication skills as well as the right temperment. -not everyone with the skill to play so proficiently can teach it with the same proficiency --very impressive
Watched this 3 years ago during Covid. Back again now as I'm thinking in more detail about my right hand technique. So useful to get really focused and detailed information of this kind. I've also been watching some videos on right hand 5 string banjo technique, which is so different but very interesting in terms of specific technique.
4:20 I cannot believe this tip or trick. I was repeating this part like many times and when I play fingertip of any song I suddenly realize that my fingers were like moving indenpendently you know. This is crazy. I will finish to see all the video
Man...this video changed completely my way of playing and helped me a lot to improve my tremolo in a simple and robust manner. It was very useful to fix some issues as well. Many, many thanks!!!
Brandon, you are amazing. Thankyou so much for this, and all the others. You are the best classical guitarist i have ever seen IMO and i appreciate you.

When he said “until I fade away to nothing” I really felt that
Perhaps that's... because that's what's happened?
Caio Oliveira CaioAco what’s your point
Sounds like you need more crescendo ~

Totally agree!! thx for sharing! BEST GUITAR LESSON EVER!
I also agree, very special. Thank you teacher
Wow, what a gift to find your channel
Beside your technical proficiency, your communication skills are adding so much value to your lessons.
One of the finest finger picking lesson in the whole of internet.
He's so goddamn good at guitar he has to concentrate to play it wrong.
Actually it is even harder to play "wrong" in the very specific ways he uses to demonstrate how we who play with two lead thumbs do it.
This is ASMR full on

Amazed at how important just “technique” can be! Loved how the volume went subtly down as you lowered your wrist. Thanks Brandon 😊
